I got a few things of worth.

A damned PILE of undaunted keys, must be a good 25 of them.
150k gold in total ( Yes i wrote it down )
    Imperial War Horse
    That Dark Shaman outfit
    Some Obsurdly expensive Blueprint

Thats it. In over 32 runs, I got 3 things really....

Best thing I got was an undaunted key and 2 transmute crystals. I only did maybe 8-10 runs though I only have 2 characters and very limited amount of time to play.

Maybe RnG was waiting to hook me up till today... (Oh that addictive personality kicking in again)

This event has had the exact opposite effect from what was intended (assuming that they were trying to encourage general overall enjoyment of the game).

Its like they just don't get that we're sick and tired of low RNG, shell-game BS. There are plenty of other games that have in-game events that include an RNG element, but also include some kind of currency so that you had a tangible goal that you could work toward.

Instead, this event was just a bunch of tedious, grind speed-runs (as if there isn't enough of those already), that ultimately ended in disappointment for many.

Hey ZoS, here is a good idea for the positive feedback loop you're looking for, that will keep people playing your game, feeling like they can accomplish what they want to accomplish; A tangle reward, and a tangible path to getting that reward. Not, "dangle it in their face, but than deny them the satisfaction of obtaining it, due to RNG"..

    Was that so hard, ZoS?

Last day of the event, last character sent through a dungeon. Opened the last mystery box and I got the war horse I was after

Also got the chef costume. 16 dungeons run in all.

Considering it has nothing to do with the crown store, I would have to say that doesn't make any sense at all.

This event has been pretty much nothing but frustrating. I'm tired of being shown something that I want, cosmetic or otherwise, and than through RNG being denied it, as opposed to a common-sense approach such as event currency where I have the choice to see something that I desire, and than actively work to achieve it.

Even price-gougy, ultra-exploitative Neverwinter has the common sense to use event currency so that even if RNG does not favor you, you can still work toward getting what you wanted to begin with, and not participate in what ultimately just becomes an un-fun grind, only to be disappointed at the end. In fact, just about every title I can think of, uses some kind of event currency. More often than not, they make the currency universal so that you can use it in later events, if there is noting appealing in a current event.

The fact that ESO relies so much on RNG is off-putting. It really makes me want to place my emotional investment in my gaming time, elsewhere where I know I can work toward achieving what I want to achieve, even if its just simple cosmetics.

Teasing me with something I want, than ultimately denying it to me due to nothing more than a Random Number Generator, regardless of my own efforts really makes me want to play something else...

To add insult to injury, I've gotten a ton of dye stamps, that I can't actually use because I am a subscriber... wow. Maybe I should go ahead and unsubscribe so I can use the dye stamps...Smart move ZoS.

It would be one thing if ZoS was doing something entirely new. But they're not. All they have to do is pay just a small amount of attention to their competitors to come to the conclusion that RNG with no recourse (not sell-able, buy-able, or obtainable through some other means) is a bad idea. It baffles my mind that they have not figured this out

exactly how i feel. the way they construct events- what they consider good - or satisfying for the game is way off, they need to hire someone with a degree in risk and gaming. going to the blackjack tables and blowing 200 bucks is more satisfying that this- at least there is a rush.
this is repetitive, brainless, activity for a very small chance at a very small loot table.
but making players go thru all this crap- when we thought they'd learned their lessons from the:
    - transmute crystals,
    - crown crate complaints- and then coming up with he gems,
    - from the vMA mess- and complaints for over 2 years (remember when they didnt even guarantee weapon drops!!? 200 runs til i got my sharp 2hander), to the
    - undaunted chests,

ITS BEEN THE SAME COMPLAINTS OVER AND OVER!!! and THEY STILL make the same decisions- i mean what in the holy F@#K is going on over there?!??!?!

and dont say its a free event please people- for someone to run a normal grind on every toon - assuming they had the max- took me 2-3 hours every day- and i m max cp- but with the broken dungeon finder , etc- it was gruelling! the time it consumed - just to get the prizes they dangled- which aren't even available for purchase if we lucked out- is what pisses me off the most.

right now i m sitting in front of 20 crates- i didnt open the last two days- been saving them to activate the treasure hunter passive- and cos i m delaying the inevitable walk outside to kick my dog if i dont get a single thing from this crappy event. see what u do zos- u make me angry cruel person!!!

Last day, I got the chef costume, and more of the usual stuff (mimic stone, surveys, dye stamp, tri-pots). So for the total event (6 days, 3 characters), good stuff is 1 horse, 1 costume, 2 green clockwork plans, 1 purple clockwork plan. And so far the plans aren't selling for me; hard to tell how much they're really worth.

You know what I didn't get? The Dark Shaman costume. The only thing I wanted. Thanks ZOS for reminding me you don't want players to be happy ever. Buying more crown crates doesn't mean I'll get the thing I want. And of course, you didn't even let me have it during the event.

The only things I've gotten worth mentioning are that fugly dog and Treasure Hunter costume. I wish I could trade either.

Sounds ungrateful, but that dog is awful and the costume dyes poorly with my color scheme, unless I want gold armor plating.

i have done over 40 runs now - didnt get squat - 0 - nothing, after 40 runs not even one costume or mount or anything - let alone the one i wanted - unbelievably frustrated and angry, yes i get it its random but if someone does 40 runs he should damn well get a costume - the only thing these kind of events leave me with is unbelievable hate and disgust for them - with recent events im starting to despise zos more by the day and the downward spiral is accelarating

i am so salty right now i could preserve food just by looking at it

Completed all the runs I could during the event. Couldn't manage to keep up a ridiculous schedule in order to get all 7 possible runs in, so 6 days, 2 accounts (mine & hubby's as he was away for work so I did his as well), 8 characters per account, for a total of 96 runs...ugh.
After that many runs neither of us got the horse we wanted and I also didn't get 2 of the costumes, though my hubby's account did *grumble*
That event was incredibly tedious and I was rather disappointed that after all that dedication I wasn't able to earn all the collectibles. ESO RNG disgusts me. And the miscellaneous garbage drops are exasperating.

I ran 14 dungeons a day for each day of the event, I already had the chef and blacksmith from when they were in the crown store. I received both the Treasure Hunter and Dark Shaman costumes, the horse and the ugly dog. I also got plenty of dross.

Dye stamps, I sub these are less than useless they take up inventory, I will dye some of the costumes I never use.
    Lock picks, yep
Undaunted plunder. Why not just 1k gold outright?
Experience scrolls, all 14 characters are at 50 and I am at 720 champion points so these will go into storage in hopes we get some new character slots.
Tri-pots. My main is a master crafter I can make better, still i can use them.
Formulas, these are okay I used them on my main
    Treasure maps
    Surveys (yay!)
Undaunted keys, I have over 200 already
    Crown repair kits,
    I want spell crafting.

i think zos is doing a bad job with these events which should serve two purposes

    1. (re)activate players for the game or specific content and
    2. leave players with a positive feedback / memory after the event so they are looking for the next one.... but of 2. doesnt happen because people are disappointed, fewer will bother for future events....you cant just tease all the time without throwing players a carrot here and there... and honestly when talking to friends, for every one that feels positive about the event i have 5 that hated it....

    Final count after 48 boxes:

    Imperial Warhorse Mount
    Mastiff pet
    Dark Shaman costume
    Blacksmith Costume
    Chef Costume
    2 green CWC patterns

Oddly, or maybe not oddly, given that you can't get repeats, all the above rewards came on the first 16 boxes. Nothing but trash on the last 32 boxes in a row.

Strange I got no Dust. I ran most of my randoms with two other people and they got 2 and 3 dusts respectively.

Most common item was treasure maps.

Only collectible I didn't get, as far as I can see, is the treasure hunter costume. I think it's butt-ugly so I'm not too disappointed but I would have liked to have pulled the entire set. My favorite items are the blacksmith costume and the dark shaman costume. Two of my characters will wear those full-time. I don't like the chef costume (looks more like a nurse) and the Imperial War Horse is so gaudy that I won't ride it after a few more days of showing it off in Mournhold :). The mastiff is the ugliest pet I've seen in the game and will never see the light of day. I really don't like non-combat pets anyway, so no big deal.
