Around Christmas there is the New Life Festival. Should be the last two weeks of the year.

All in all an excellent event to level characters or skills as most of the mini quests require no combat. I think only one does and those are squishy animals in Grathwood. I leveled all my alts in Resto Staff this way just slotting the skills and doing the quests.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

But we already got mud balls and all the reward stuffs, not sure if we’ll grind or farm or enjoy the event at all.
Does that mean ZOS only cares about new comers and want to lose old customers?

I do hope they add a few more things to the game as rewards. The Witches Festival was a little skimpy on the new rewards.

One of Breda's non-quest dialogues last year said that some events change from year to year. So it shouldn't be a complete rehash.

Witches festival introduced some new collectibles, so probably New Life Festival will do the same. Homestead wasn’t part of the game last time the festival was running so at the very least we can expect a few furniture items, though I really hope we’ll get more new collectibles/recipes.

I’m actually stoked for it. Last year I really enjoyed the event, it really felt like a celebration was going on in the game. Most likely because of the amount of players. Since I already collected everything from last year, I will just collect every new item and level up my alt. Maybe two of them.

Eh... I’ll reserve my excitement and hope for now. Need I remind anyone what happened to the drops with this Year’s Witches Festival once they added in “housing item” drops?

Snow-covered branches and sticks for everyone!!!
    No thanks.

They need to add a snowball this year. To go along with the mudball.
