Thank you for the data. It is discouraging, but makes sense.
I wonder, do we see those Sun-Eater negates in any other content? They seem to have a unique animation, and I wonder if they have unique-enough coding behind them such that they are excluded from Earthgore's effect by omission rather than by intent.
The line of thinking here would be that Vashai's negates are non-unique enough (literally suppression field by another name) such that they, through similar oversight, are affected by Earthgore.
I may have a chance to check tonight, but hopefully the progression just clears and the question can be moot.
Relatedly: Can you negate Vashai's negates, as you can with the negates of other players and numerous other end-game boss effects?

Vashais negate isn't negateable. Unfortunately, then roaming horror in the nobles district (the giant skeleton boss) has a unique negate as well you could test on it as well.
