Day 4 : even more junk.
P.S. I thought the rewards from those boxes are crown store items only....so I take it lockpicks...crafting surveys...treasure maps...undaunted keys/plunders....they are all crown store exclusive only ?
I think it would be better if we would have those rewards like this but permanently in game...having 1 box/day like this it would be cool...especially that then u cant complain for the fact that u can farm them since I know people who do this on 14 chars daily and they only get dye stamps and lockpicks...

Not much, some days, but I'm very happy with the CWC recipes! I also got a white wolf mount from the free boxes from the earlier week that I'd forgotten to open, so I'm very satisfied with my ESO haul this week!

Apart from the annoying items like maps, the nice things were: 1 purple clockwork recipe, 1 blue clockwork recipe, 3 green clockwork recipes, and the dog.

Just find it weird my boyfriend got three costumes and zero recipes. I got recipes and zero costumes.

Does ZoS have some weird RNG algorithms on our accounts?

So, last day of the event, the most unprofitable event I participated in. Got nothing but almost useless crown store consumables and gold chests from Undaunted (3 days in a row, now I'm rich as hell). Participated only with one character though. I guess people with a lot of characters have better luck. Law of large numbers on their side at least.

I have 14 characters. I got the horse and the dog out of the event. I can't say I don't appreciate having these events in ESO, they are quite nice.

But events should not be based on character's timers, and should not exaggerate on the boons of the event. This put way too much stress on me and eventually I quit half way through, only doing it whenever I feel like it. Raising people's hopes and disappointing them is a quick way to get bad reviews, or worse, lowering the numbers of players in the community.

On a more related topic...
Out of approximately 40-50 boxes, I've gotten only an Imperial mount and mastiff. I was more excited about getting two purple furnishing recipes, but the rest were pretty much junk.

People are really missing out if they think the treasure maps are bad. Depending on the zone, some of those maps could be gold mines. I got a number of Rivenspire and Bangkori maps that have the potential of netting me 10-100K gold depending on the drop.I am on XBOX NA and I will take all of your unwanted treasure maps.

I got really lucky with drops though:

All the costumes,
War mount and pet.
tons of undaunted keys.
A lot of CwC plans. Threw a few in traders that I already knew.

And lots of mat/chest farming while waiting for the queues to pop on my DPS toons. I think I have made somewhere around 250K so far from this event. With chest farming during queues and vendoring dungeon loot.

are u serious??!! you cleaned up- RNG on your side buddy-
see i think those kinds of results everyone should have gotten if they payed the event on all there classes every day.

EDIT: i wonder if the treasure hunter passive actually did help- i m going to save my loot and open them all one toon that has the passive- im trying antyhing - ANYTHING - at this stage to get that Shaman outifit!

Honestly, the treasure hunter costume was the only valuable drop. For the rest of them, I'd prefer Clockwork blueprints tbh.

The problem with this event was that they made it sound way more appealing then it actually was. Some of the things that were in the loot table should have never been there. Lock picks for instance, really? People were punished also for already owning some of the costumes. Not sure how it’s fair that if you had already spent real money on something that you get a lockpick in its place. It also stunk for people that had horrible RNG and had ran 45-50+ runs and didn’t get a single collectible. It makes some people a bit bitter. I myself ran 45 times during the event. The only things to note that I got was the Imperial war horse and 2 green cwc blueprints. Not a complete disappointment.

Well, on my first box today (14th total), I got the Shaman costume. And I can stop inflicting my mediocre gameplay on PUGs.

I completed 7 dungeons on 7 different toons i never got nothing from the event the most disappointed i ve been in the past 6 months if its not the infinite load screens or getting kicked out cyrodiil or another loading screen while in a fight or a dungeon like for reals come on ZOS may i get my event boxes ? -__- i m so done i feel depressed when i think of this *** get out of work trying to play a game i love an enjoy have so much passion for an yet ive been let down these few months -____-

This event has been pretty much nothing but frustrating. I'm tired of being shown something that I want, cosmetic or otherwise, and than through RNG being denied it, as opposed to a common-sense approach such as event currency where I have the choice to see something that I desire, and than actively work to achieve it.

Even price-gougy, ultra-exploitative Neverwinter has the common sense to use event currency so that even if RNG does not favor you, you can still work toward getting what you wanted to begin with, and not participate in what ultimately just becomes an un-fun grind, only to be disappointed at the end. In fact, just about every title I can think of, uses some kind of event currency. More often than not, they make the currency universal so that you can use it in later events, if there is noting appealing in a current event.

The fact that ESO relies so much on RNG is off-putting. It really makes me want to place my emotional investment in my gaming time, elsewhere where I know I can work toward achieving what I want to achieve, even if its just simple cosmetics.

Teasing me with something I want, than ultimately denying it to me due to nothing more than a Random Number Generator, regardless of my own efforts really makes me want to play something else...

To add insult to injury, I've gotten a ton of dye stamps, that I can't actually use because I am a subscriber... wow. Maybe I should go ahead and unsubscribe so I can use the dye stamps...Smart move ZoS.

It would be one thing if ZoS was doing something entirely new. But they're not. All they have to do is pay just a small amount of attention to their competitors to come to the conclusion that RNG with no recourse (not sell-able, buy-able, or obtainable through some other means) is a bad idea. It baffles my mind that they have not figured this out

Only been able to complete 2 runs since getting the horse. 2 undaunted keys and 2 Stros M'Kai treasure maps. The second character had to destroy the one she already had to loot the new one. So still have 3. So lucky.
