Yeah, when I left another game to come to this one I just, you know, left. I don't still sit on the forums of the other game screaming about how I hated it and stopped playing.

Feedback is great, but it needs to be constructive. No game dev is going to take ranting from people who say it's the worst game ever and they don't play seriously. I get the feeling some of these people are the type to scream at customer service employees over things out of their hands too.

Personally I don't like the One Tamriel update, I preferred the other alliances be vet + and vet ++. And the new dlc and chapters be vet +++

Though I can see why one tamriel works especially for new players.

However they could also provide character boosts, if someone wanted to play morrowind immediately if they kept the vet system.

As much as OP's post isn't particularly constructive, it seems you want the forum to be full of only positivity, well I'm sorry, but as a newish player myself I feel potential customers have the right to know what they might be facing. I've been playing two months and I already feel somewhat disillusioned by certain things. I'd rather know the bad (as well as the good), and not just have everything sugar-coated.

Ive been playing again the past couple of days. Population is crazy low on xbox na. My guilds are all almost dead. Gotta say I miss the old days.

Well, if PvP is genuinely beyond repair the ONLY logical thing for Zeni to do is pull all resources from ongoing support and development of PvP and reinvest them in PvE.

I'm up for that, PvP in MMORPG invariably makes the game worse overall.

OP is just giving critism to this game. It seems you cannot tell this game is still broken after all these years and that with every update something gets broken.

To the naysayers, how many posts on these forums are “constructive? If someone posted “This game is great!” then all the hardcore fanboys would flock to it and raise that thread on a pedestal. Yet, it isn’t “constructive” in the slightest.

OP is spot on. Been playing since launch (on console) and the game has lost a LOT of appeal. People wanted to actually play the stories, but when Morrowind came out, the story was weak as hell. I rarely if ever see people run HoF, and Vvardenfell is about as dead as Shadow Fen or Rivenspire.

I’m an effort to “balance”the game, they eviscerated something that is integral - fun. No one feels particularly powerful anymore, One Tamriel homogenized all players and builds, battlegrounds is weak (can’t choose deathmatch?!), and some of the best zones created (Imperial City) are desolate wastelands now, because there isn’t anything worth going there to do.

Yet people still boringly Zerg keeps, run the same trial for the umpteenth time to get that “one last piece,” and sell motifs in zone chat that no one cares about anymore (WE HAVE ENOUGH MOTIFS).

TL DR: OP is spot on. His lamentations aren’t from someone that hates ESO, but from someone so disappointed now by a game that he used to find to be so enjoyable. I am in that boat, and have subsequently deleted the game. I check the forums in hope that a change is coming and I might revisit Tamriel, but wanting and wishing don’t change outcomes. If you aren’t where OP is yet, you will be. That, or you’re likely addicted and you’ll never accept any reasoning behind your own “feelings”(or you’re brand new).
