Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• [IN PROGRESS] ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – April 8, 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC) - 6:00PM EDT (22:00 UTC)
Why can't they make costume or appearance backpacks bags bandoliers scroll bags ect... they would just be like costume items but equipable over other outfits. Game play would be more enjoyable actually seeing where you can horde all your stuff.
How big will my backpack have to be to hold 10 different sets. How big would my crafting bag have to be to hold 10,000 different items. Im just joking.
I dont really like the idea of wearing a backpack but I am sure I could toggle it on and off if it was implemented.
But I am sure ZOS would love the idea. They dont pass up an opportunity to sell cosmetics.
Played for about 2 years on Xbox and did everything you can do (-emp).
Still pretty new to PC-NA.
What happens if I'm venturing through the lands and get in to a fight and I'm having to dodge roll with this massive suit case on my back? It's not gonna end well lmao
When this game came out, you could see players checking their inventory with their hands in their brown sacks.
Now after coming back after the One Tamriel. I noticed unless you have ESO+, you will be standing there looking like you are scratching your own ... sack.

The main issue of course would be two-thirds of the weapons in ESO clipping through the backpack when sheathed. All the ones worn on the back.
Though, it -would- be nice to have a "back" slot... someday they might even be able make halfway decent cloaks and capes for it... but until they do, they could make various backpacks, back banners, slung wineskins, long tattered scarves, and so on...
oh ya and it would be a costume appearance so you dont have to wear it if you dont want to ... or did i leave that part out, everyone is talking like they have to wear it on their character..
I love when posters get mad when people don't agree with them. This is a forum, everyone is entitled to their opinion, someone is always going to disagree. On another note this has been brought up many times no need for more threads on it.
Shields clip through 90% of the gear/ costumes already. This would only exacerbate the issue. We have enough frivolous jangles hanging off us as is: butflaps, crotch flaps, hip flaps.
