Day 4 (8 runs): only consumables and undaunted keys and blahblahblah.

I must say that when this event started I hoped to see more crown store items than there are (or seem to be). I already got the dark shaman costume and the war horse, so I will just buy the alliance war dog (as it looks almost like the imperial war doggo that I want so much) and do random dungeons whenever I feel like it. I was super motivated at first but after discovering that there are only 6 collectible items and that you can indeed get duplicates... meh.

Every day with eight characters...the best I've had is one purple clockwork recipe, one blue clockwork recipe and two green clockwork recipes. I'm happy with these, but still think it's pitiful for an event like this.

Well I sold a purple recipe for 250K...got all the costumes...and about 25 transmute crystals...so I wouldn't actually call it pitiful...

I got a purple recipe too....I still think it was pitiful. The loot table is unattractive, uninspiring and demotivating. It's mostly junk, with a tiny chance to get something good.

You tell me. I've been playing this game for two months. I was told in another thread that last year the events used to have better loot, but so far, I think the events in this game are sub-par compared to other MMO's I have played.

I'd also like to know what event(s) had better loot. Witch's Festival was okay. Midyear Mayhem was meh.

You tell me. I've been playing this game for two months. I was told in another thread that last year the events used to have better loot, but so far, I think the events in this game are sub-par compared to other MMO's I have played.

Pretty much on par with all the other events...for example...the Halloween event drops were retreads from last year...at least some of these drops are new...

I love ESO for it's story and various other things, but I'm sorry, the RNG loot is a disappointment. I know this is all subjective, but I can only be honest about how I feel.

I'll keep updating this. The stuff I consider good/useful is in bold. I should note that with two accounts you can get exclusive items such as costumes and mounts twice. If you have only one account you will not see that you got an item twice unless you have a loot tracker. It appears that ZOS just re-rolls you it that happens but you don't see that in the background without an add on.

Obviously I am pretty happy to have gotten the mount on both accounts. I figured that if I got one mount out of this thing I would be stoked. On both accounts is more the merrier as my secondary account had only the brown cheap horse and of course I also want the mount on my primary. Overall I don't think the "rare" rewards such as costumes and mounts are to bad RNG wise. It is a bit of a shame though that the "common" rewards are such crap. Some more green clockwork motifs or transmute crystals would have been nice. Alternately, if we could have turned in things like the crown pots for gems those would have seemed like nice rewards. As is, the really nice rewards are seem OK in terms of both RNG and what they actually are but the stuff you get the rest of the time is such garbage. The regular rewards should have been things that you don't straight up delete.

I should also not that there did seem to be 3 other rare items that folks told me about. There was a treasure hunter costume, some other costume I forget the name of and an imperial war dog. I did not hear anything about anybody getting other mounts or houses from the boxes. Perhaps this could happen but nobody I know ran into anything else.

Today, a mimic stone, tri-pots, a survey and a treasure map, and a green clockwork city furnishing plan.

Today 14 characters a day total of 56 boxes =

Chef+BS+TH+Shaman costumes + 1 purple plan basically is all I got out of all those, rest were 90% 1k treasures.

I'm guessing that I've done 22-24 runs so far. I've gotten:

• Chef's costume
• Blacksmith's costume
• Purple furnishing recipe
• 2 Blue furnishing recipes
• 3 Green furnish recipes
• Some low-value maps
• Some 1K boxes
• Some pledge keys or extra transmute crystals
• A whole lot of trash

By the way, those crown tripots could have some limited usefulness, since I think they work for any level of character. I probably should be equipping them for the low-level alts I run in random dungeons.

I rolled up another alt but I don't think I'll try grinding her up to run dungeons for this; five a day is about as much as I can do and still have time for things I need to do.

I am pleased at all the mounted monster heads I'm getting though; dungeons aren't usually my thing.

day 4: a bunch of crap. tri-potions mimic stones and a few treasure maps, undaunted plunder...

are they serious with this ***?! people all around me have gotten all the cosutmes already- for 3 straight days ive gotten nothing much worthless junk- doing it on 10 max level toons- it literally takes like 2 hours- all in all. this is one of the most frustrating and annoying events they have ever held. to have such a limited loot- gives the expectation that we can at least get some of them if not all, - so to get absolutely noting- its just plain crap!

now if the loot table was large- all encompassing- the expectations are different- zos needs to really really take alook at how they do events and loot tables- and have expectations vs rewards- cos if everyone does an event and feesl *** afterwards- wahts the point?

my feeling is that most people have somewhere between 5-10 toons. given the invested time in runing it 5 times- i think a strong reward should fall 1 in every 5 boxes- a costume or a mount or a motif - something valuable- the joy would then be seeing WHAT you got- oh you got tihs? i got that- BUT WE ALL GET SOMETHING. like christmas- you never know what ur going to get - but YOU KNOW YOURE GOING TO GET SOMETHING.

but to hold an event- and have such a *** *** drop at such limted looot- have people get everything and some get nothing- is like sending ur kids off on a easter egg hunt- and having the kids find presents- WITH *** NOTHING INSIDE!!!! well maybe a lockpick.

serioyusly zos- im frustrated and pissed off now- this is such a poorly considered event- that i wonder at your level of competence- people play a game- FOR FUN ! not to be jerked around for nothing. at least with xp and ap events- we got soemthing out of it- even if we werent rewarded directly- there was still a sense of progression- this is so annoying.

Day four, six more runs. My soul is at 25% vitality...

Survey, plunder, potions, repair kit, more potions, chef, more potions, treasure map, more potions, crystal, more plunder, and another repair kit.

I've run out of words for how disappointing this is, so I will just say goodnight.

I am consistently getting dye stamps and treasure maps. I am a subscriber so I don't need dye stamps. I wish we could turn them into gems.
