If you haven't ran a warden before, it's gonna take some getting use to.

I'm back on my mag warden.

Got a bosmer stamwarden ever since I was on Morrowind's PTS, loved it then, love it now. It's a rather "relaxed" playstyle, if that makes sense - less rushed than stamblades or stamDKs, most of your class skills have a small delay before they go off, which might seem like a weird thing at first but it actually allows you to pull off some massive burst damage if you time your skills right. Plus, they get a stamina-based heal and a light/heavy attacks-based one, which makes the grind for Vigor much less urgent than on other classes. I find it great for soloing, even without the bear (not a big fan, but that's a matter of personal tastes).
As for the meta, I can't and won't speak for that, the very idea of following the meta gives me the willies.

You have to decide that for yourself. They have a close-up and stand in your face playstyle.

There's actually a very good reason to play warden right now because it's basically the perfect PvP class, so it is fun to get in on playing it because it will probably be nerfed next patch.
