What an absolute mess

First you put everything cool behind an RNGpay wall. Fine I get it. My $100 isn’t as important to you as some suckers $1000.

Then you creat an event where there is still some somewhat cool stuff but we have to use the broke *** grouping tool to get it.

I was able to get 4 toons in before it crashed again for the second night. Then I was able to get one more in late last night before calling it quits and going to bed. I wake up thins morning thinking I can get them all in but no. Because instead of a daily reset, you guys chose to go with a 20 hour cool down.

So now I have 8 toons scattered through out the day, plus a wife and two kids that would also like to play the PS4 and real life things to as well.

I’m trying real hard not to drop $200 on gran turismo and a new steering wheel, but everything about the way you guys have managed this game since CWC drooped is pushing me in that direction.

If you guys (the devs) were in my position what would you do?

If the LFG doesn't work just simply relog lol, it fixes it.

They would do that, they are doing that. One day you're going to wake up and realize you don't have that any more, you'll be older, the kids moved out, and you'll ask, "Where did my time go, why didn't I take more time for that?" but it'll be too late.

I have two kids too. Dont have time for sitting in a broken queue for hours, I feel your pain. Atleast I can wait for infinite loading screen in Cryo till they fix it.

Good point. Of course, when I put a quarter in gauntlet... it worked.

Can confirm this solution does not work. Tried it last night. 4 of us in group all did hard resets on consoles to no avail.

I agree the 20 hr cooldown is utter bs. Why not just a daily reset? Would make things a lot easier.

I sympathize with you, the state of the game can be frustrating and some of the mechanics don't make much sense, you gave a perfect example.
Something like Guild Wars 2 is certainly much more convenient and fun to play, especially if you don't have a ton of time to commit or you simply want to play your way, on your schedule, ect. I honestly love that game but after a while playing it makes me realize the bad in it and want to play a game like ESO...

For all of its nuances it has a lot of good things about it as well. For each person the pros and cons are a bit different. I guess it is good that we have options.

I'm not telling you to find another game, but you may feel better about this if you take a different approach for a little while. do something different, get out of the box you are in... play ESO doing something else and come back to the things that bother you when you are ready.

Honestly, if a game is giving you grief (outside of being challenging), you need to distance yourself from it, or the part of it that is a problem for a short while.

That doesn't excuse ESO from the problems though... but you could probably address them in a different way.

The relog can work although not ideal and eats more valuable time.

Stepping away for a couple of days to play offline can work too... although in time limited events it does suck that ZOS never seem to be prepared for the mechanics or the increased population events like this always generate.

And finally - don't be too concerned by the snarky comments above - just take a few minutes to consider how empty their lives must be to spend them hovering here to snark at people experiencing genuine game problems

if it doesnt work then dont play it, you have other responsibilities, i know i do, dont stress yourself on playing a game, no one is forcing you to finish every random dgns on all your toons besides yourself. i only have 5 toons and out of those i only did 3 randoms didnt even bother to finish the other two.
