Transmutation crystals - a thought

Believe it or not thanks to help of lovely @vamp_emily and her guild I was able to obtain my first "evar" TC. It wasn't a goal to get it.. not even those loot boxes..I really enjoyed the raid... NOw.. If only I could frame the said TC and put it on my Trophy wall (which, by the way, I don't have yet because my current Tamriel house is small and modest..but hey..it's homey!)...
But..yes.. crystals...
So you need like 50 of them to be able to change ONE piece of gear...ONE. And you can obtain it only from completing vet dungeons? (I may be wrong about this..but this is what I read somewhere) So, correct me if I am wrong, 50 vet dungeon raids to be able to change trait of one piece of armour? It's a little insane to me... but, hey, I can buy transmutation station from Crown Store..I may not use it often.. but it surely does look impressive...as a piece of furniture! ;)

Also, the limited capacity of TC? I can store max 200 of them? And why is that? Are they like furniture? Heavy on ZOS servers, hmm? :P

- Breton SorcMag dps [She's got an identity crisis, but I believe in her.]
- Dunmer Templar dps/healer [she's a healer, then again she likes inferno staff too...]
And..
- High Elf SorcMag dps [It's quite possible his daddy was a Nord.]

No, you can obtain transmutation crystals from all kinds of sources, not just vet dungeons. Any Undaunted pledge (normal or vet) will reward you with crystals, as will weekly trial coffers (normal or vet) and your first random dungeon of the day. You can find more info here.

Without going out of my way to farm them, I get about 250 a week. That's by running a few pledges per week, a few trials per week, and PVPing every night. If you don't PVP you will probably get significantly fewer crystals than regular PVPers, but that's alright, since you'll also have more time in PVE to farm optimal traits.
7-day PVP campaign regular 2016-2019, Flawless Conqueror. MagDK/stamplar/stamwarden/mageblade. Requiem, Legend, Knights of Daggerfall. Currently retired from the wars; waiting on performance improvements.

Hi, I had fun last night. I was kind of tired towards the end of the night, those DLC dungeons seem to take a looooong time. :)

Transmutation is designed to help players get the right trait they need for gear they’ve already obtained through farming or running content ... in other words to provide a “finish line” for grinding a certain set in the player’s desired trait.

Transmute should not be a substitute for players running the actual content for gear ... hence the cap on stones.
