Could all this lag be caused by all the different armor/pets/mounts?

I know ppl want to show off their sweet gear, could ZoS give us a option to turn off 'other peoples' pets/swag/lag from hell mounts?
I just want to play the game, I don't want to see lag cause someone wants to tag pets/toys

Altaire✭✭✭On my home computer, I enjoy little lag. it's a I5 w/ a good graphics card and the game runs off a SSD, but when I try to run ESO from my high end laptop, well = load screen from hell, and getting that from GUILDIES too.
It would be nice to able to turn off other ppls bling.0

✭✭✭✭✭Mounts could effect FPS but that's going to be more on your side (don't run all particles etc if your system can't handle it), lag is more about server requests etc. which as Blanco said CP does a lot more damage that a request to know what mount to display in the game for you.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

Hardly any effect on server. CP has some effect as its another layer to calculate. still gear is just as bad.
The problem with current even is that the group finder get overloaded, suspect today reboot is to move it to an dedicated server or similar.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.0
