I've been returning off and on to ESO and figured it's time to grind my CP I'm close to 500 CP just by playing normal, doing veteran content and questing. Never tried grinding but I might if you got any tips on how? :)

Random normal dungeons as said by Bevik or grinding with a friend and using XP scrolls.

Although just playing the game and doing content is enough to get them coming in as well, grinding might just burn you out.

Personally, the best way to farm CP is to do something fun, play the game, and let the CP come flowing in.

However, I had good luck running some of Cadwell's Gold when I was on my last 100 or so CP.

Do random normal as many chars as you can on 1 account. Wait for the double XP event from middle of December for 2 weeks. I managed to farm ~100 CPs during the double XP event by doing random normal dungeons on 6 chars. From today a week on you will get box, gift from random daily/char anyway.

The literal BEST way to grind cp/xp in the entire game is to group with another person, a high cp dps, in a cyrodiil delve when your alliance has all the keeps for the mega xp bonus from keeps. Cyrodiil is best not just for the bonus xp but for the amount of mobs you can pull and the fast respawn, so once the other player has a pull rotation it becomes an easy grind. To add to this, full training gear, popping xp pots, scrolls and doing this on a double xp event would be the best grind.

If you cant do this, daily random dungeons once a day is a good start, but the amount of time loading, finding players ect isn't as good time-xp ratio.

If you have to, or want to grind alone, the best solo option is a pub dungeon, the last zone for each alliance one as it has the bigger mobs. I would suggest the vile manse. Just run around killing mobs with full training gear on is an easy grind.

What? Skyreach is still the fastest CP/ hour if you’re magika and have destro ultimate unlocked. Can do a full clear in 3.5 mins. Dolmen farming zergs on Al’Kir otherwise. Nothing else even comes close. Oh the zombies in Riften are pretty good too. Or the similar farm in Malab Tor.

Lots of good suggestions here; all of them are tried and true methods. Just pick one and go with it.

Dolmens in Al'kir = mindless grind (but jewelry, crafting, and achievements); easy to get a group
Zombie farming = good if it isn't too crowded
Skyreach = if you can solo it...otherwise you need a buddy and the extra XP for grouping is worth it
Cyro dungeons = fun if you don't mind the occassional PvP death, again, best to bring a friend
Normal delves = I don't know about them - not sure it's very efficient because of the travel
Public dungeons = can be good; find one that no one goes to and farm - loot can be very valuable for the right dungeon (plus achieves and skill point)

As mentioned, whatever you do...pop an XP pot or scroll and do them when you're enlightened. I say this because I have 2 accounts - one has 14 level 50, CP 690 toons and the other account has 5 level 50, CP 300 toons (working on it!).

random daily dungeons for sure. also, spellscar with xp pots is pretty good too and isnt as mind numbing as repeated skyreach runs.

If you got to CP 500 playing the game the way Meridia intended you to, be prepared for a shock at how boring and soul crushing grinding is.

To each their own but grinding is a frigging bore.

do all the public dungeons in every area, that makes fun and cauz they hve most different mechanics, you learn a lot about your char while running through these things, and with every grp-boss you kill there, and you can mostly kill them solo, you get a skillpoint too!
what else you want!?! this is funtastic!

Your at 500CP. You can run yourself through skyreach till can’t stomach it anymore. That and random daily on different toons. The daily guild quests and zone quest are fast and give good xp also.

PvP and trials are probably some of the slowest XP gains.

Killing vampire orcs in Vile Drainage in the Imperial City sewers is a great grind because you accumulate XP, gold, Tel Var stones and Fragments all at once.

The problem with cyrodiil is during an xp event you cant refresh the buff if it is tied to a memento (which all bar the new life festival? have been) as mementos don't work in pvp. So you would either have to leave and rejoin every 2 hours or go without losing some of the xp gains.

However it is the best outside of an event.

Nice. People looking for solution to the "kick that low-CP guy" problem. :)

One of the two of us definitely has gone mad. It only remains to define whether this one is the whole world or just me.
