Need help please : the launcher wants me to install the whole game again

It has been like this for 1 week ( last update of my computer )
I was playing without using the laucher but now I need to download the last patch. Anyone has a solution pls ? I tried to swith EU to NA on the laucher script but it no longer works ( a few month ago it was working with FR changed to US )

If your launcher appears to be redownloading or repatching the game, please exit the launcher, reopen the launcher, and then try the following workarounds based on what the Launcher's button says:

1. If the "Play" button reads "Install"

Click the install button, and start downloading.
Once the download begins, shutdown the launcher.
Restart the launcher.
Expand the Game Options menu (Cog wheel located above the News Feed).
It should say Updating…., under that it should say Cancel. Click Cancel.
The expanded tab should now change to include "Repair". Click Repair, and wait for it to finish.

2. If "Play" button reads "Pause" during the download process:

Expand the Game Options menu (Cog wheel located above the News Feed).
If the tab says "Installing…", restart the launcher.
When the tab says "Updating….", Click Cancel.
The expanded tab should now change to include "Repair".
Click Repair, and wait for it to finish.

The repair process will go through a loop of verify -> download -> verify until all the files are repaired. The progress bar will therefore go from 0 to 100 multiple times before it finishes. It is possible that the system will need to download large files.

I finally found a solution earlier.
I switched Region : EU to US ( and not NA )
In the script and it was fine

Same here, thx anathosdm! Only difference is it happened out of the blue for me. Didn't update anything since the last time I successfully launched the game. Still able to run it via eso.exe, but wanted to repair it before the next patch, and reinstalling the whole thing is not an option for me.

However we do need a clarification on this. What is the reason for this error? Will this affect future patches? Should we try to do a repair now? If I revert back to region:"EU", it says Install again instead of Play, what will happen if we leave it US, will the next patch resolve this? Any kind of information would be useful here.
