What was your hardest ever 1v1? Most dangerous spec?

For me it was a duel with my Werewolf running Pelenals Kena and Necropotence (basicly unkillable 1v1) against magika DK running Fessala (when it used to be 50% defile) and Black Rose. It was good that my wolf had 27k magika and 5k spell damage but i barely healed for 6-7 k ... he beat me hard at the first duel and then i put my Malubeth so he went RIP ^^.

I especially struggle on my Mag DK - they have all of these speed buffs and a spammable immobilize (RIP Fossilize) and I have to waddle towards them to get into melee range and apply my Embers and Whips.
    Slot wings, duh.

Depends on the class. I generally hate fighting stamplars when I'm on my stam dk.

The secret behind magblade is not playing it like a magsorc and thats the reason why most people suck at it.
They think its a variation of the mag sorc style

Ummm the most dangerous are players, not classes they play and no, Im not talking about those "streamers", I mean players that are ancient like dinosaurs, they simply live in Cyrodiil, dont tell me that when you had seen Warbow on the tower you never have hesitated ;)

Meh, warbow is just a cheese player. Like myself

I was on a magplar and he was on a mnb. Fasalla's Guile had just dropped, and he was running it. We fought a good 15 minutes before I was run out of resources.

Once when we were progressing vmol back in the day we went into lunar and my boy died to a suneater on pad 4. After lunar the suneater 1vxed half my squad, but I pulled up on my magdk and 1v1ed him before ressing the boys.

I extensively played stam DK using wings with about 1K mag regen. DKs are the anti-magblade class. You say magblade (which I play now) has all that mobility. I say DK locks you down. Your class is one of the reasons I slot a specific counter, Forward Momentun. If not that, it would be Mist Form or the shade. Either way, I counter you. I suggest you do the same. Wings are more than a nuisance to a ranged magblade. They are a pretty hard counter, since all our ranged attacks get reflected. Spammable, Assasin's Will, Impale. All reflected. Forces me to use Concealed Weapon against DKs, and voila, I'm in range. Completely different from sorc, who typically uses unreflectable Force Shock, Mage's Wrath, and Curse.

I just read that wings are currently broken, as they do not refresh the buff when still active. Then consider Absorb Magic and the 1H + S ulti. I run into that more often than wings these days. For what it's worth, I do agree the range nerf on Fossilize sucks. Not sure whether Obisdian Shard is any good; it seems expensive.

My hardest and most fun 1v1 was on my freshly finished MagDK against a Magplar on the Dolmen in Bruma. The fight was so prolonged that we finished the dolmen together while fighting and paused the fight to loot the chest and then continued fighting. I think it lasted around 15 minutes or so until another enemy showed up and another of my faction showed up. The 2v2 didn't last long after that and we ended up winning the fight in the end.

The original Morrowind.....fresh off the boat, I encountered an angry mudcrab. It was a bloody fight to the death....and I had crab bisque for dinner that night. >:)

My first play through I died on the first skeever and then didn't play it for like a month.

I remember the first time we (my wife and I always play TES games together) found the Drunken Mudcrab, we freaked out....and then were like "WTF?"

As a stamblade I hate fighting really tanky magDK’s. I’m not one of those cloak spammers but when I do need a cloak to help get some health back or take pressure off they usually have several AoE skills to stop me and those 10k+ leaps against my medium armor build are rough. I won’t fight certain ones in open 1v1 combat in cyrodiil without something in the environment I can use to my advantage is present.
