✭✭Its just another way to "win" the game... see progression in game.
Typically I hoard it for a bit then just splash it all out new gear, then hoard some more. Perhaps when I get up to another gold level I might splash on a BIG HOUSE to celibrate.
But overall collecting it feels like progression in its own right.0 -

Flameheart✭✭✭✭✭Getting as much motif styles as possible by daily quests, buying the missing ones. Furthermore...just imagine you are raiding at least 3 times a week and look up the prices for corn flowers. Sometimes I spend my money on gear for a second role equip, if it is BoE (Plague Doctor, Akaviri), but usually they are drop sets anyway or can be crafted (Torug).

lardvader✭✭✭✭✭I usually save my gold until around 3 mill then I go on spending sprees. Yesterday I bought the remaining houses to finish off the achievements. After that I spent a few hundred thousands on missing motifs. Stopped at 700k so will be saving again for some time.
Won't use any gold on houses but I'm still missing around 7 motifs and a bunch of furniture recipes if I want to finnish the achievements on my crafter.
Still keep a few million of AP if the golden turn up with anything useful.CP 1200+ PC EU EP0 -

✭I saved up gold each time to buy a manor for crowns, did that, now I'm back at about 1.2MM. I look for good deals on missing motif pages when I just can't be bothered to farm further (or when I'm missing like 3 and I get one I know for the eighth time), good deals on alchemy mats, sometimes recipes, and whatever the luxury vendor is offering that weekend.
I don't like dipping below a million, but I shave a bit off the top here and there to use as fun money in the game. Unfortunately, when you get to the point where the only stuff you're missing to collect is exorbitantly expensive...0 -

✭✭✭✭✭mostly housing stuffs. but also missing motif chapters when I get tired of farming them myself/cannot be bothered. very occasionally I supplement with rubedite/ansestral silk/ruby ash - sometimes blue and purple tempers (run short on those every once in a while). every one in a while, I grab world drop gear for an alt. but mostly housing. even my crafting material shopping most of the time relates to housing (like tempers, or any time I come across decently priced rakeipa's)dirty worthless casual.

✭✭Other, in the sense that I do multiple things of the above:
- hoard it until:
- I need to upgrade some kit and am out of mats
- Some of the motifs my crafter is missing have finally dropped to an acceptable cost (less than 10k per page)
- Some housing items I definitely must have or I die pop up
- I am very desparate for those fire balistas to leech ap from a bomb group.
