As the title says, do you frown upon those that don't sub for ESO+? Keeping the options simple this time so you can explain your reason freely.

No reason to. Just could never picture going back to pre-craftbag. Don’t know how they do it.

No, I know that most non-subbers contribute at least as much as most subbers to the game's finances.

The only players I hold in contempt in any game are those freeloaders who argue that the game in question isn't worth paying for despite the fact that they spend countless hours every week playing it - but that's a general comment about games generally and doesn't apply to anyone I've come across in ESO.

    No. Why would/should I?
It makes no difference to me how someone else plays their game, or how much they do or don't put into it.

I ask because in-game, I have ran into it a lot, then some on the forums, so I was curious if I was just unlucky or if it's common.

This, main reason for me to stop playing back then was probably the inventory mini game.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

None of my friends play frequently enough to take advantage of ESO+ anyway. Most of my guild members that log on daily have it though.

Most of us were non-subbers once, that's why.

poor people should be frowned upon. 95% of eso players live in first world countries. if they don't have 15$ to burn every month

should they even be playing games at all.

Well, considering the sentiment that we need to go back to a sub model, maybe they're looking for an answer as to why that is, considering the gigantic push for it recently.

And considering most sub players cant comprehend why anyone wouldn't sub.

Do you buy absolutely everything that's available for you to buy, unless you can't afford it?

No, of course you don't, because that would be absurd. And yet you expect everyone who plays ESO to buy a subscription just because it's available, and assume the only reason not to is because they can't afford it?

There's plenty of people who could easily afford to sub but choose to spend the money on other things, or save it, because they'd rather have those things instead.

How can one tell in-game whether a person is a +sub or just a regular F2Per? Is there some sort of an icon or visual aide (e.g. different colour for character name)?

Because if one cannot tell (without the person stating so in chat, and without trusting said person's words) - then how can one, say, kick +subs or F2Pers from a group? Or attribute good/bad behaviour in-game to one or the other?

Having played a number of F2P MMOs (of both action and RPG variety), and having been a "sub" in some and an F2Per in others, I can tell you that I've personally never cared about other players' subscription status. But, rather, their in-game ability (e.g. if part of a raid), and, tangentially, whether they behaved like a complete prat or not.

Specifically to ESO, the only thing that would cause me to question why someone is an F2Per is if that specific player bought and spent an average of >1500 crowns per month. Because at that point, they might as well be a +sub, it makes no economic sense not to be.

    WTF are those polls

Well, considering the sentiment that we need to go back to a sub model, maybe they're looking for an answer as to why that is, considering the gigantic push for it recently.

And considering most sub players cant comprehend why anyone wouldn't sub.

What is this "gigantic push", precisely: how many players are involved, what percentage of the player base they constitute*, how (i.e. via what statistical methodology) were their opinions assessed?

Also, insofar the alleged comprehension of "most" sub players: what does one mean by "most", what specific number, what proportion of the sub base**, how were opinions assessed?

Oh. I am sorry. I hadn't realized this was standard forum hyperbole based on three poll threads with twenty unique account responses (or even thirty threads with two hundred unique account responses). Carry on.

    * - trick question, since there is no recent public data on the size of the player base beyond a few estimates.
** - double trick question, since there is zero public data out there on ESO+ subs as far as I know.

I dont care how other ppl play the game.

I also fail to understand how anyone does care about the opinions of a stranger in the internet.
