How is that Xbox players are still paying $24/year more than PS4 and PC for ESO Plus?

I just picked up ESO on Xbox with the release of the Xbox One X and found out when I went to grab an ESO Plus sub that the only thing that's available is the full priced $14.99 1 Month option. On Playstation 4 you're able to purchase 3 Month and 6 Months at a time for a discount of up to $24/year. It's been like this for a long time and I haven't seen any info on you guys working to address this with Microsoft. What's the deal?

    On PS4 I was buying 6 months at a time making it essentially $12.99/month instead of $14.99. You also get all your Crowns up front so 9000 Crowns to spend right away. I don't know why they still have not added the option for Xbox but it's definitely not fair to the customers.

    It's a crap shoot if you even get the crowns monthly on Xbox, lol

    I am wondering if this is a question that needs to be asked of Microsoft. I am sure that ZOS would offer the pricing if they could.

    Well some of us stopped long ago due to issues getting crowns. Also when PS4 store changed I asked and it was said Xbox wasn’t getting it so no brainer ....
    ESO Plus has been broken since launch on Xbox one.

    They already said they dropped the sub due to consoles and even further clarified that Xbox Live would not drop their charge in place of a subscription while Sony would.

    Seems to me ZOS is intentionally trying to force a subscription which obviously hasn’t been compatible from day 1.

    Us ESO+ subs on Xbox have always been second-class citizens. Good luck trying to get support for it. Twice I have tried to get support for Plus issues and both times I was given the run-around witn ZoS and Microsoft telling me it was the responsibility of the other company. Now I just call Xbox because I can at least get someone on the phone and talk them into resetting my sub and letting me re-sub. I have to wait 6-8 weeks for the $15 refund but it's the only way to get it to reappear when it vanishes mid-sub period.

    Also as stated above we on Xbox actually get our 1500 crowns every 33-37 days instead of every 30. Every time I have inquired as to why this is I get some BS excuse about the billing period not being 30 days yet when I check my bank statement all the charges are 30-31 days apart. Makes me very angry that I've missed out on many months worth of crowns like that.

    As an Xbox user I demand a discount or at least more crowns for our trouble.mid say we get paid back crowns for having to shell out more money.

    A yearly or 6 month would be cheaper and work better

    But they've got to get this sorted out. Not only the issue you stated with some users not getting their monthly 1500 Crowns but the fact ZoS is making Xbox users pay $24 more a year than everyone else on other platforms.

    You should always get your crowns right away... If you are on xbox they hassle you. Screen shot this and show it to them

    @cbdfarm Maybe it’s important to emphasize the issue isn’t with Xbox regarding getting crowns and benefits it’s with ZOS. Xbox is only responsible for charging and renewing via the payment side which almost no one has issues with. Xbox is and always was helpful refunding initially but now it’s happening multiple times so most of us are at the point where it’s questionable to Xbox service.

    In the ZOS side often we experience an interruption of benefits and absence of crowns but this occurs with successful payments.

    The issue at hand is specifically ZOS in context to this topic not Microsoft or Xbox and per ZOS it’s an issue with them due to their back end process. ZOS lies twice now stating it was resolved and then later wrote on these forums it wasn’t so they gave us a undisclosed amount of extra crowns for the issues now going on three years (once or twice each calendar year). We log in and see 1500-15,000 crowns with no message or email. We only find out from many posts on the forums and Reddit.

    People have their opinions on Microsoft/Xbox on this but the problems are literally just ZOS

    Have to agree with @NewBlacksmurf on this one. The process is so diluted because I have to give my money to microsoft who then has to give it to ZoS. ZoS are the only ones who can fulfill the order however.

    Also I've argued this over the phone, quite arduously, with Xbox customer support and they are adamant that they have no control over the distribution of crowns. When I ask ZoS they give me some excuse about the billing period. Then, when I reply to ZoS about how my card is charged every 30 days not 33-37 like how my crowns are delivered, and then the email chain goes quiet and i never hear back.

    i just don't let it auto renew and re sub manually each month.
    Worked better for me , also lets me make sure of crown deposit.

    How do you solve the Crafting Bag issue? I've tried it for one week and filled up literally all my slots on all my characters and subbed again.

    How do you solve the Crafting Bag issue? I've tried it for one week and filled up literally all my slots on all my characters and subbed again.

    Stop hoarding and get what u need, craft and the slots are empty. I realized I keep thousands of things on hand and never use.....and I created a Guild and had a few people join so it opens the bank. Then they left

    Only use your bank for account bound stuff
    All this just makes the game less frustrating and i play it for fun now. When things go weird I go back to Elite Dangerous.

    Yes, because having two different pricing models is so much better than one. And ZOS wants to pick on one console platform for, reasons?

    Let me ask, is there a game on Xbox that has a subscription that allows more than one month to be purchased at a time? I ask because I can't find one, only multi month Xbox Gold subs.

    It has to either be an issue with the Xbox Store and how it's currently set up to handle monthly subs on games or ZoS is refusing to agree to some terms that Microsoft has. We need clarification from ZoS on this because staying silent on why one platform is paying more than the other two can't be allowed to let fly.
