Yup loaded up the website this morning hoping to pick some up, but w/e I guess.

I bought some during the last sale, and while I was hoping there would be another one now, I'm not that surprised. I imagine there's a pretty big spike in revenue during those sales, followed by a steep drop, so I figure that: A ) as other people have said, ZOS doesn't want the crown sales to be too predictable (apart from knowing there will be at least one per year), because that becomes an incentive for people to hold off buying them at full price, and/or B ) they know full well that people are going to be upset and disappointed, but they also believe they'll be adding some irresistible/time exclusive items into the store, and so they're testing if/how much that disappointment affects Nov/Dec revenue.

I expect it won't hurt one bit, as many people will rush to buy full price crowns if the store offers the kind of items people are impatient to get, like those that were recently data-mined. Either way, I've no doubt that ZOS invests a lot of time and money into consumer behaviour research and tracking, so I'd bet they're going to make more money with this strategy than with last years Black Friday crown sale. I just picked up ESO on Xbox with an Xbox One X so have no Crowns over there and would of purchased a bunch during this years Black Friday sale but since they're not having one I refuse to pay the overpriced normal amount when they're 40% off during the sales.

very disappointed. on a plus side, so far there's nothing I actualy want FROM crown store, so my subscription leftover 2k crowns might tide me over for a bit. still... would have been nice.... hopefully they will have one for Christmas maybe?

Yes, for a few for things that are going off sale soon.
Not interested in the upcoming items, so now won't be buying any at all for a while.
Can't complain though, as Morrowind was at least decently discounted.

As I recall, they've had quite a few this year already. While I enjoy when they are on sale, I wouldn't expect another one this soon already. It wasn't that long ago they had one.

Apparently ZOS is adverse to money. I had planned to drop around $100 on crowns if there was a sale. Oh well, I guess thats an extra hundred dollars I can add to my Christmas shopping budget instead.

I knew there would be no sale on Black Friday because we just had a sale a few months back.

Of course people want to pay less for things, this is a ridiculous poll.
