"You do not qualify for this product" when I try to buy Gold Edition

Hi, I wanna buy ESO Gold Edition from the store but when I try it says "You do not qualify for this product". In my account I have only ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE BETA, and THE ELDER SCROLLS® ONLINE PUBLIC TEST SERVER. I tryed once ESO on Steam, but I haven't bought the game. It seems that I can buy either Morrowind or the Crown Gems, but not the Gold Edition. Why? If I will buy the Gold Edition from Gamestop it will work?

I had a similar issue when I tried to purchase the Morrowind CE today. Not sure what the requirements are to give money lol
I pre-ordered the Imperial edition hard copy, I might just do the same with Morrywind CE (if a physical version of MW CE even exists). Good luck with your attempts at purchasing it. Let us know if ya can get GE from Gamestop

I remember that a while back people were being locked into Steam if they had played ESO during a free promotional period through Steam. Meaning that even if they didn't buy the game (through Steam or otherwise), they were forced to do a future purchase through Steam because that's where their ESO account was now linked to - newly created or an existing beta one.

If you've participated in the original beta with the same account you've used on Steam during the free promotional period (which probably linked it to your Steam ID the same way it does for people who purchase ESO through Steam) AND that is the same account you're currently trying to purchase the Gold Edition for, then that may be the problem. If so, it's best to contact support through a ticket and see if they can solve this for you.

If you're indifferent to where exactly you start the game from, you could always choose to purchase through Steam and play from there (though that does not solve the problem, technically speaking..) Or you could choose to create a new account here and purchase the Gold edition for that one (instead of your old Beta account) if you're intent on playing through ZOS' own channels. The only thing I can think of that you'd lose in that situation is the Imgakin Monkey non-combat pet that was handed out to Beta players who later purchased the game. That pet will be linked to your Beta account & not your new one (though that could also be something to take up with Support as they may be able to transfer that to any new account you may or may not create?)

Please don't try this until you've had contact with support, or you may be spending money on a product you may not be able to use the way you want to use it. You will NOT be able to play ESO on an account that is linked to Steam through any other means than Steam itself. IF support is able to un-link your ESO Account from Steam, then that should solve all your troubles and you'd be able to use whatever you bought at Gamestop with that account.
