https://youtu.be/Obn6GDGC4I4?t=304Server latency has definitely worst in past two weeks, but I assume it because we have 10 million copies sold.
Then again maybe it's the mega server and all the instances? Then again maybe they hired an coder who got fired and removed all the comments. This would explain why group finder was breaking every patch till recently. So who knows... maybe all be well next patch?

Also, Champion Points existed prior to the console launches (for about six months, if I remember correctly), so there was no, "before CP" on the XBone. That said, CP was a lot less common on there at launch (simply because only transfers had points), and CP is probably a major consideration in server load.

I noticed latency becoming a bigger issue with time, and when Morrowind came out, game crashes became more common. Now with CWC it's rare to go an hour without a crash, zone loading which never completes (have to restart client), voice chat won't connect anywhere upon joining a party (have to restart client), etc. Latency still a big problem, it's awesome having to mash a heal skill button 10-15 times with hopes it fires once

Thats not true. I've played xbox version since launch (switched from pc) and there was no champion system. It was only veteran ranks and I still remember well playing in Cyrodil back then. There were way more people and the game ran almost flawlessly in massive battles. It was veteran 14 max thrn it got upped to 16 and they introduced champion system after that. Graphics didn't change a bit on consoles during the updates so it must be some memory isssues with the game not the hardware.

You're wrong here. You can see it in trophies/achievements. I got my first cp on August 11th 2015, just looked it up in my ps4 trophies. Console release was in June 2015.

I'm afraid I have to agree with this, the game was playing much better a year ago on PS4. Maybe its just because its got more popular? There are many more players in Cyrodiil now.

I transferred with around 100 CP on day 1.
Yes we still had the veteran system in place with CP and veteran rank showed instead of CP rank so that is what may have confused some.
