Whats your ESO wishlist?

Mine:
  • Making ESO more ES then an MMO.
  • PvP and PvE toggle options, incorporate the original bounty design into a new skill line.
  • Removing the slot requirements for weapons, opens up gameplay for players who want the passives only who use class only skills.
  • Absolute separation of balance between PvP and PvE.
  • Revamped Champion system, condense stat based things into crafting, expand the crafting system.
  • All the stats on the Character sheet, so console players know what their stats are.
  • Reincorporating their original design philosophy, build diversity has taken a drastic hit.
  • Faction Leader assassinations.
  • More in-game cosmetic achievement awards.
  • Revert the crafting changes or make gold upgrades buyable in PVP, I am not getting pigeonholed into a Trade guild to grind money

Obviously I am not a fan of PvE, I do not want PvErs to get dumped on either, I just want the separation so theres two different types of Tamriels and players have access to the Tamriel they rather play in.

Whats yours?

Not ever going to happen, I was being cordial about it rather than being abrasive (blunt) like I usually am.

There's already a wishlist thread https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/379927/eso-2018-wishlist/p1, this one isn't needed or wanted.
I've been muted since November 2017 because of the whiny crybabies on this forum and the liberal ZOS employees coddling them.

My wish list only involves one thing...make 2H weapons count as 2 set pieces to bring them in line with DW and S&B. It's unfair for people that use 2H with the way it is now...

    An option to hide vampirism

Make medium armor dye as well as light does

For the next chapter to be worthy of the title chapter, not undercover DLC

    More furniture slots

    Account wide mount training

    Account wide lorebooks (toggle)

    Account wide skyshards (toggle)

I obviously wanted it or else I wouldn't start it. I am not sifting through the forums for old wish lists.

What you want is irrelevant. It's on the first page, there's no way you missed it. But you stick to that story, cowboy.

I support this, they need to open up build and playstyle diversity again.

Blizzard is making a lot of good changes to WoW, ZOS better get with it or lose subs to WoW.

ZOS was headed in the right direction but crippling playstyles is not a good answer, they're missing attack speed increases, missing a lot due to homogenization and everything "needs to be equal".

I think re-condensing the stats is something I want to add to my wish-list. The game was a lot better when there was more dodge-roll and blocking in the game rather than some random modifier like evade.

Too much RNG in the current iteration.

Transmog system for all weapons would be dope too.

Hate to be the one to inform OP but Zos designed this to be an MMO first. An MMO with TES flair. They have added some things but Zos wants to keep this an MMORPG.

More bad news. Zos already decided against adding PvP in the open world and having a toggle for it. They tossed that idea out when they glossed out their original idea for the justice system. Toggles never work well because someone finds a means to exploit it and pull those not set for PvP into PvP. Besides, you chose to play a game that didn't have this system in play.

The third point made zero sense. There are no slot requirements for weapons that affect game play in any manner. One can get set bonus and all yet use just class skills. Besides, would be bad since the weapon traits are a nice plus to our damage regardless of the damage skills we use.

I stopped there. Those are just the reasons the wish list will not happen. Probably more can be added

Its quite the opposite, I don't worry about anyone else because that's their business, not mine. Individualism will always supersede collectivism, I actively choose to limit my participation in the community. Really I have no other way to communicate effectively with ZOS.

To that last comment by OP ^^^

Your asking for a very different game than you purchased. A very different type of game than you purchased. Your first wish item makes that perfectly clear.

It may be reasonable to expect to be able to communicate the idea but it's certainly not reasonable for you to expect any of those changes. It really seems that you might have purchased the wrong game, the wrong type of game. Welcome to the world of MMOs.

I am aware of ZOS decision, but they used the Elder Scrolls name and now they need to show it. That's like saying they're a restaurant and they only serve burgers. They can't get upset if someone says they're not really ES but ES only in name and art.

They didn't put in the toggle system because people complained about it because "muh community", but they do not get the luxury of living down the fact this game was advertised for PVP first and everything else second. Secondly, toggles work fine; ever heard of Asherons Call? They pulled it off marvelously, so did a slew of other online games.

Doesn't matter if the system wasn't in during realize for ZOS, they missed putting in Imp City during launch and that makes the game fair play.

Reread the passives in the weapon skill lines, it requires a weapon skill slotted for those passives. Just like it requires mage-light slotted on that particular bar in order to gain the benefits of increased crit.

I've been playing MMOs since UO, but your assumptions are amusing indeed.

I pre-purchased this game during beta, from which then they had half my wish-lish in the game already, then removed it.

They normalized attack speeds when uppercut was much, much slower; so was jabs. A player used to have to use rapid strikes followed by jabs in order to get an attack speed buff.

Hybriding was viable, play as you want was viable, Cyrodiil was better, crafting and getting gold upgrades was and a lot simpler.

I bought a game with the title Elder Scrolls at the expectation that the title would be fulfilled that isn't unreasonable that's called having standards and holding a company accountable as a consumer.

Nvm. OP is entitled to his oppinion even if this game was clearly billed as an MMO based on TES vs just another TES game with some multiplayer aspects. I seriously doubt Ozs I'll give a thought to redesigning the game anyhow.

Just FYI to put some things into perspective.

The largest IP with games based in them is SWTOR. They've have games in several genres including at least 2 MMORPGs among the multiple single player titles of various designs.

The same type of players done olay each title because the are marketed to different groups but the business end is targeting, overall, the largest market possible which is why they have offered so many different aspects of the same IP.

If this was merely like the other ESO games there are many here that wouldn't be. Zenimax will publish another single player game again. We already know that.

And yes, we know it's a wish list.

Heres the thing, I only give ZOS *** because I absolutely love the Elder Scrolls universe and they are not expanding and adding build freedoms; they're dicing it to pieces and homogenizing it. Its the same *** on every class with different art animations, that's dangerously boring.

if I wasn't loyal to the elder scrolls franchise, I wouldnt give two *** if this game went bankrupt.

I also have an expectation for developers who come from old school, the UO, AC, SB, DAoC era. I expect more from them, just like I have expectations of the crew at Turbine. I expect a lot more from them, I just do.

Marketing to the masses shouldn't be a priority, it should be the quality of the content which they have sacrificed time and time again.

I just think ZOS can do better, WoW is going to crush the market yet again with their new expac, because they're doing everything right for once.

I honestly believe ESO shouldn't have classes, but they ARE marketed as an MMO that's why I don't give them *** over that. But all this hardline crap is boring, blur the lines a bit stop rewarding purism in an ES game at the very least.

Theres no attack speed anymore, where is Major and Minor Swiftness incase we want to go low burst and high DPS? If someone wants to rip someone up with flurry, rend, and some bleeds in rapid succession why not be able to drop the weapon damage and increase attack speed?

Why the *** should anyone be forced to slot a weapon skill in order to get the benefits of the weapon passives if the only thing they're using the weapon for is additional pressure? Some of us play hybrid styles with a mix of magicka and stamina abilities.

They absolutely gutted being able to use a great sword and lining that up with a crystal frags, why? because they decided to put 5 piece benefits for stats on armors.

They had Cyrodiil good in the beginning of this game, you wanted to stop a zerg? Ballista hat trick, bait them into a choke point, have a ballista waiting and wave good bye to the *** who followed you.

They keep repeating the same mistakes over and over and over.

Dodge rolling was fine, blocking was fine, you know whats not fine? RNG misses.
