Platform change

Zos, why will you not give this to us.. Im just talking console to PC, PC already got their platform change early on we never did... I know it would probably be a little work but PC has the advantage here.. Pc has add ons. Pc gets 1st priority when it comes to bugs and issues. when something goes wrong on pc it is acknowledged and fixed ASAP. Its been like 10 days since CwC on xbox and i still cannot pvp.. I can barely do anything else with the lag and load screens. Not that many people would actually use a platform change from console to pc but can you at least give it to those of use who would? I own eso on xbox and PC and im sick of playing on a platform where i legit cannot play a lot of the time.. I wish i knew this when i started 2 years ago because i would have went with pc instead. I never thought that things would be this bad on xbox though. Please can you guys at zos consider this. I doubt many people would do it, but this would be good compensation for all the issues this game has on console..

The pc to console switch was only because the console version of eso came out after the pc version.
There was no console version to start with.

You now get to pick which platform you want to play on. Because of this I don't see platform swaps coming back.

If theres enough demand it could definitely make a return. The problem is there probably isnt a big enough demand right now.

@NewBlacksmurf guess you dont pvp much, or do anything competitive especially pvp.. Much smoother on pc. Console does not get the maintanence it should.. I wonder how long it would take them to fix a bug where you had to restart your client every time you died or traveled in cyrodil, and outside of cyrdodil as well, if it were on pc... my guess is not nearly as long as console..

And i actually dont blame them for taking like 2 weeks or so to fix issues on console since its not as easy as doing it on pc.. I blame them for the awful state that the game is in on console, as well as when we wait months for fixes.. I had to play my stam sorc from MORROWIND til HOTR without dawnbreaker.. No class ulti, just dawnbreaker being useless and taking soooo many months to fix..

When i bought this game on console it was advertised as an mmo with huge battles in pvp.. Well spoiler alert any fight with a good amount of players is pretty much unplayable most of the time. Then when it comes to bar swap, hitting skills, executing abilities on time... all these things have major delay that makes competitive play (especially solo pvp) ridiculous.. So ya i think it is needed for some of us that like playing like that.

I've given up 375 CP, millions of gold, and basically every set in the game to return to PC because I literally cannot play on Xbox NA. Let me transfer my account please

Stuff fixed asap on pc...dude, get your head out of your ass. We deal with the same problems as you console players do. In fact, most stuff getting fixed is because we notice it first, while your patch is 2 weeks later with most stuff fixed already.

I really do wish they would allow console players to switch to pc the ps4 na pvp community is toxic to much racism and trash talk going on in text chat in the main campaign vivec plus blocking them doesn't even work on ps4 you can still see what they say plus load screen's and a bunch of other crap

Also considering the BS that happened with the console switch (gold/material stacks) then I don't think we ever need a transfer system again.

This also doesn't touch on the issues of duplicate account names, character names etc.

Exactly. PC users should all be given free ESO+ for being alpha and beta testers for consoles.

I doubt very much that the contracts ZOS have with MS and Sony allow transfers off console.

It’s that this interested me at launch so I followed their offer and now have both PC and Xbox One (different progress) but my pc progress at launch was copied to Xbox at launch.

The other part is preference, nothing’s stopping anyone from moving platforms but they were very clear, no account transfers would happen after the offer.
