I never ever saw a single lightning staff in my last chest of vMA. So, first run today after the event had started, the second weapon that dropped was: A LIGHTNING STAFF!!!!

Parablodia✭✭I did 6 runs today and didn't get any lightning staff. I got 3 Inferno 1 Resto 2 Bow 3 Sword and Board 1 Dagger & Sword and 1 Greatsword 1 Maul. I guess the grind will continue tomorrow

Congratulations and well done to you both. I’ve done only 1 run today, and was given an infused lightning staff and an infused bow. Unfortunately, I already had both of those drop for me both. But, it’s nice I suppose to have multiples of good-trait gear. 0 -
GrafDresche✭✭✭I wish I wasnt too dense to even finish vMA. Even with the so called idiot proof MagSorc builds I fail miserably... I can do normal without dying, but veteran beats me. (or my patience and willingness to spend money on repairs...)Edited by GrafDresche on November 17, 2017 2:13PM0 -

✭I just need to get any bow so I can retrait it, a restoration staff might be nice too if I make a healer some day.
I feel bad though, I keep getting lightning staves, and I had gotten a sharpened inferno on my 3rd run ever (back when that was BiS), and I don't really need it. I wish RNG would have given those to people who wanted them in place of giving me a bow :P0 -
Hixtory✭✭✭✭Ok I have to add myself on this post, as an "altaholic" I try to get weapons for all my toons, meaning full sets. Is expensive af but it always comes to the point where I have to change the VMA weapons in bank between toons and is annoying. Yesterday I embarked on running it to get as much weapons as I can and OMFG:
1st run: 2 Bows. Defending/Nirnhoned
2nd run: 1 2h Axe, 1 lighting staff. Infused/Nirhoned
3rdr run. 2 DW/1 Bow. Precise/Sharp/Sharp
So I have to ditton on this post. Now all my stam toons have its own bow, and 3 mag toons have its own lighting staff

after completing it once, it gets easier with each run. First time completing it takes patience. I recommend watching the vMA video guides from Deltias Gaming on youtube. He has a guide for each stage, explaining all mechanics and whats important.

mystfit✭✭✭I made my first attempt into the normal version today. I made it to about round 5 but needed a hand cramp break I'm glad for the event since it inspired me to go peek in there. Vet is likely beyond me, but hey 0 -

If you follow mechanics and kill the nastiest mobs first, you should be ok. It's also a lot about burst dmg in there. As I said, I highly recommend watching deltias guides on youtube for all stages.PC | EU

If you follow mechanics and kill the nastiest mobs first, you should be ok. It's also a lot about burst dmg in there. As I said, I highly recommend watching deltias guides on youtube for all stages.

✭Yay, got me my Nirnhoned bow on my 4th run into the event. Funnily enough it was in the exact trait I wanted too so I don't have to change it. Even funnier is because right before I opened the chest I decided to do the praying animation as a joke because I hear everyone doing that Xd1 -
