Warning - Flame Knight Is Hyper Bugged

I don’t know if she’s like this on PS4-NA only, or if you guys are experiencing it on PC and XB1. But somehow ZOS has made this already janky and buggy sub-boss more bugged. 3x in a row now I’ve gotten bursted down by this broad, before I decided to stop and upload a video of it. I’ll go try again after a break for a few. But as is, I can’t beat her. She burns me down way too fast due her to her animation desyncs and animation cancelling. Mind you, I’ve completed VMA 500-700 times, and have Flawless Conquerors on every class but Warden. This boss is just seriously screwed up.

If you are looking to grind VMA due to the Orsinium double drop event being live, be sure to take EXTREME care going into Stage 8’s second to last round. Not even on my main (PetSorc) can I defend against this chick currently. With shields up (as seen in the video). Her burst is just insane. It’s as though I have no resistance at all. Good luck grinders. You will definitely need it.

    Could you explain in detail what's wrong, there? Your shield was down, your stam was too low to dodge again after the chain, and you stayed in melee range. Is she not supposed to strike two seconds in a row?

    This has always been the hardest part of stage 8, but it appears to me that you just ran into a little lag. I've never thought of this boss as being 'buggy'.

    He should have shielded, true, but it looks like he got slightly desynced - the game played the animation after doing the calculations.

    Notice how her sword is raised in the air, but his mag/stam are at 0, indicating he's already died as far as the server's concerned. She then plays the animation of actually striking him, and, well, he dies.

    It's mostly a side-effect of lag (as in, most of the time, slight lag won't make a difference), but the fact that she tends to attack quickly compounds the issue/makes it seem like a bug.

    The biggest problem I had in that stage were actually the flame slinging mobs. I ended up bashing them to no effect, dying to the fireball, only for them to be rendered a few meters farther away in the death screen. Probably also a desynch.
