✭I imagine the footer banner will be up shortly, but lately they've been more vigilant about posting in/moving stuff to correct sections. Rather have that than the clutter in general.

I'm ok with all the PvP [snip] going away (oh wait, no, still plenty) but I never considered a sticky with the latest news announcement pinned in General "clutter." It's one link, and it's far more important than the latest whine.
As for being on the launcher - probably is, but I didn't see it for the 5 seconds I look at the launcher.

Footer just popped up for me, as well as in-game notification.
