Issue w/ Deconstructing Items Post-CWC

There is something seriously off about deconstructing items after CWC.
I haven't had a chance to video it and I'm still trying to establish the new pattern (if there is one).
When you deconstructed an item prior to CWC it would pick the next item under it to be next for deconstruction.
Now? I don't know what item is next on the chopping block.
Yes I can lock items I don't want deconstructed. However sometimes I forget and when a gold item I got from a Leaderboard pops up next instead of the 'Rubedo Arm Cops of Health' that were supposed to be next, that's a problem.
Short term solution - slow down I guess.

✭I had this same issue Pre-Morrowind and it has now returned. Sometimes the items that can be researched, blend in with items I've already researched. It makes deconstructing a real pain.1 -

✭✭✭I can confirm this is on xb1 instead of the item under being next to decon it jumps all over the place seems almost random. Now I make sure to go very slowly and wait and not just spam the button to deconstruct.0 -

swippy✭✭✭✭✭i've been waiting for someone to bring this up. before CWC (on XB/NA) for me it would always randomize after each decon, but still keep them alphabetical. so though it looked like my cursor would next fall on sturdy Gloves of Necropotence it would then randomize and maybe be on a divines pair of Gloves of Necropotence. i got the hang of going slow and paying attention to each item.
since CWC though the entire decon list below the ornates will scramble irrespective of alphabetization, so i might decon an Ancestor Silk Hat, then find Werewolf Hide boots next on the list. that seems to be the problem. and since the entire list scrambles, i can no longer just attentively work top-to-bottom; once i get to the bottom i have to start at the top again (6 or 7 times at the Clothier) just to be sure i'm not wasting inventory space.
i hate to sound like a baby, but it is literally the difference between getting a headache or not. i'm usually pretty patient, but i dread the tedium of decon now. i was reluctant to complain because i wanted to like all the other menu changes so much, but i'm not sure the change was worth it.
if we just reinstate the alphabetization, but keep the new menu functions prioritized first, it would fix at least my problem. and hey, while you're in there, maybe add new funtionality to also arrange by color/quality, then trait? i'd be thrilled1
