Leveling StamDK tank

I’m new at looking at numbers, FYI and just starting to understand them.

My question is: I am doing dungeons on my imperial stamDK and she’s great, I love it.

I’m also leveling her through questing in DLC and Morrowind.

What is a good way to maintain some viable dps while questing but also work towards a perfect vet dungeon/ trial build? Also, I’m having stamina sustain issues :(

Right now I’m looking at both Alcast and Woeler.

I have 1H&S on front bar, 2H on back. Will switch to 1H&S for dungeons/trials.

TIA :)

The simplest of answers would be to make friends and quest with someone whose also leveling a character, preferably a dps character. If you haven't look for an active guild where folks help one another.

Secondly, don't be overly concerned about leveling up only certain perks. You can always grind for sky shards down the road and there are plenty of skill points overall that you can use to assign to many of the skills. Try another weapon type such as dual wield or two handed. Down the road you can always reset all skills/champion points/character attributes to whatever you want for the price of in game gold.

I too, did something similar, also a female imperial tank, I did a lot solo because most of my friends were playing other games. It's hard and takes longer, so if you can find someone also leveling that is playing the dps role, that would be the best option.

I'm new as well, and also building a dunmer stamDk. I think we are always going to have stamina sustain issues in the beginning but as I've leveled I have discovered ways around this.

I use max stamina and stamina regen drinks/food/potions for larger fights. I've also already respec'd as I realized spreading my attribute points evenly across mag/health/stam was a terrible idea. Right now I am running 0/1/20 (m/h/s) which gives me 12959/15231/20665 and regen of 741/492/1087.

I'm also running 5 pieces of the defiler kit, a couple greens and I think one blue, not sure.

Anyway, I'm not going to jack the thread. I know there are variables in builds that yield different stamina regen and max numbers, so perhaps this helps to see where another newbie is at?

I have no intention on hitting leaderboards or trials with this build, purely PvE.

Are you on XB1 by chance?
Drathus Delenu- Dunmer magDk: Shehai Shatterer, Mageslayer, Stormproof, Peak Scaler, Clockwork Confounder, Orderly, Master Wizard, Cloudrest Hero, Undaunted, Dragonstar Arena Champion

Zaakazha-Redguard stamblade: Boethia's Scythe, Clockwork Confounder, Maelstrom Arena Champion, Dragonstar Arena Champion

I'd slot flame lash and dk standard, they've gotten my main through 90% of available quests. Not as effective as possible, but better than her standard set of defensive and sustain skills.

On my tank I have 20 points in stamina and the rest into health. When I solo play I use different gear altogether (still sword/board). My solo gear is Tremorscale/Thunderbug/Viper. DPS is not high but anything you encounter solo goes down fast. For your solo gear use stamina glyphs. Tank gear is entirely different though. I mostly tank so I use the Atronarch mundus stone but if you mostly solo use Serpent mundus stone.

My tank just hit 50, I've respecced to full mag dps (Burning Spellweave + IA, all magicka stats etc). I'm going to do all public dungeons, around 120 skyshards, get mage guild level 10. Then respec back to tank and never look back.

Thanks everyone for input - I am almost level 50 and I keep mixing things up to make sure all my skill trees are leveling with me. This character is not a crafter so I don't have to worry about losing those skill points.

Sadly no, I am PC NA. Just to clarify, I am StamDk

I am not in game at the moment so I can't recall my actual numbers. I do know I am sitting at around 35K health with massive regen because of Imperial bonus + Ebon Armory (drops in Crypt of Hearts dungeon). I am almost unkillable if I am paying attention and doing smart rotations.

I am using Dubious Camoran Throne as a food buff with the occassional regular stamina regen potions that drop.
The questing has been quite tedious and long but I am almost to level 50 and from there, I jump to about CP350.

Currently, I am wearing Ebon Armory and Shacklebreaker with whichever weapons drop when I kill stuff.
I haven't purposely crafted any sets expcet Shacklebreaker just to see how it works. I am following a few guides but at this stage, I am still testing out skills combos and rotations and gear.

Eventually, I will perfect the build. I know what I need to get. Since I am SO NEW at number parsing, I am really doing trial and error to see what different dropped sets do and how they affect my gameplay.

I am constantly swapping out abilities and skills, again, just to test.

I'll let you know how it all works out once I get to 50! Good luck to you :)

Forget about 1H&S and specific tank gear during leveling. You can level this line in no time after you get lvl 50. Use generic stam dd build - bow and duals. Hail + Tornado spam + Embers/Green blood for healing. Use only heavy armor till 50. Grab all mage guild books, Shooting Star is second best ultimate for dungeons, especially if you don't like PvP. And if you slot it + Structured Entropy + Inner Light (if you have free space) you will get nice magicka and health boost.

Here´s what I usually do when levelling a new character:

    * Grab the skillines for Mages-, Fighter- and Undaunted Guild.
    * Grab all the Skyshards from the starter islands
    * Start get all Skyshards, Lorebooks in each zone
    * While grabbing all skyshards and lorebooks, I also complete all delves, public dungeons and Dark Anchors
    * Sometimes I do the mainquests in each zone as well for those extra skillpoints.
    * This I do for all zones (Not including DLC ones)
    * Do one random normal/day when the timer has reset.

Cons: It´s not as fast as grinding skyreach, spellscar or imperial city sewers (zombie area in DC zone, most underrated grinding spot in the game if u ask me)
Pros: You´ll save time in the long run, and having 30+ extra skyshards to spend when you hit lvl 50 is really nice.
