I can't tell if it's a problem on my end or a bug in the game, but very often I run/sprint, want to jump over a ledge somewhere, press space, and simply fall down instead of jumping.
Is this happening to anyone else by chance?
It's absolutely infuriating, like if the damn game randomly didn't register keypresses.

    Happens to me sometimes. It can be a blessing in disguise because I'll often hit the space to jump when I shouldn't jump and survive where if it did work I'd have died on the impact.

    True that. I've got a Logitech G910 mechanical gaming keyboard that is hyper sensitive - it's very often too sensitive for everyday typing unless you're extremely accurate because it will register the slightest brush of a key. Except when playing ESO. When playing ESO I can't just tap a key, I have to hold it down or things like jumping or switching bars simply never register. It's always been bad like that.

    I'm playing on EU server and using Windows 7, but I think it's something in the game.
    I never had the stuff that happens in ESO happen in any other game. This keyboard weirdness and mouse occasionally going bananas for a second or two.

    Try enabling your game's latency/ping meter. When my game starts ignoring my input, it's often because I've gotten a lag spike - sometimes over 8 seconds - and I accidentally cancel actions because I keep trying to use the gd crafting table. (Ymmv, it might not be lag at all, but it's worth a look.)

    Nope, my ping is consistently in the 40-60ms range.
