@Twohothardware the cap is 33k, but if you go over an opponent's penetration will reduce from your maximum.

So if I have 43k resistance, and you have 10k penetration, my armor value will be at 33k giving me max mitigation.

So even though there is a cap, it's not a waste to go over it if you so choose
