Something I noticed about armor movement (a query on capes)

So I totally get that the game's engine can't handle capes, and that the flowing motion would be too much, but something I noticed is that the Daedric jerkin (and idk about other light jerkins) has a flap on the front, and one on the back move in a sort of flowing motion when I run. Like, they aren't conformed to the shape of my character (like the Breton hero armor) and instead look like how a cape could flow. Now I get that there would be a lot of visual lag if everyone and their mother had a cape, but I just found it interesting that these pieces weren't stuck to my guy.

Yeah I just noticed this, my toon did the Redguard dance and belt flaps swooshed around like they had free-body physics. Running, stopping, strafing, the barbaric flaps really act like a tiny capes. I imagine it's easier with the smaller things.
