Zos should add a new super cool unique looking skin as a secret reward for the next season of crown crates.
Imagine the the money they would sucker out of people! Possibly enough to permanently fix server issues.

I am NOT and will never be a fan of secret items in crown crates. the only thing that makes these crates tolerable over loot boxes in some other games is the fact that you have at least some guarantees via gem purchases. had.

✭✭✭✭✭I spend a lot of crowns. But not on things because they are "cool", but on things that match my character ideas. Sadly, many of the "cool" things are a bit lacking in character matchability - not in the least because I prefer my characters to be a bit on the low key side when it comes to their stuff... more "rank and file" then "hero standing out from everyone else" (which if you think about it, is a pretty whacky concept in am MMO where -every- player is a grand hero...)
So, I have yet to see anything super-tier that made me chase crown crates... the stuff i want from them is usually in the 16-40 crown gem range, and thus not too hard to grab.
I expect it would be the same with a "super cool skin"... so I really don't get all excited about this idea.2 -

It is not funny at all. and if Zenimax needs some money they should open a pay pal account for the player base and offer them an option to donate to directly to the developers works, so tehy can deal with the isuues quckly enough, then scamming people like this way with crown crates.

i agree i would spend crowns to buy everything from the shop what i like instead of playing that rulette game.

one of my friend from N/A spent 4k dollar, just to get a secret mount. that cost of money in Hungary where i live now is almost one million Hungarian Forint wich is a lot of money, i could have buy from that money a very decent new car. Or take my whole family to a relaxing welness week ina 5 stared hotel. including dinners, lol and still would have some money left. It’s funny you mention this, as I’m slowly but surely ceasing to use any of the skins I’ve acquired nowadays. The only skins which I’m considering to use currently, is the molten skin on my PvP character. And the Dromathra skin on my Khajiit. All others are going without skins.0 -

Especially that you cannot have a CHOICE about turning ugly collectibles you may not want (like all the fugly mask/hat things and costumes, or stupid pets, ew!) into gems. Every item whether you already have it or not, should give you the choice before it goes into your collection, turn to crown gems? Y N just like how it turns things you already have into crown gems. You should get the choice in case you don’t want the item at all.
I don’t need any weird flower sallet junk etc.

I like limited time items because it brings greater variety to the overall player base, it makes sure that not everyone is using the same stuff.0 -
