Limited bag/bank space, items should stack to open up some space

This has been and always will be by design to force people into subscribing for craft bag to have any decent playability in ESO.

There is the reason why ZOS have never fixed this or addressed inventory in ESO. In 3 years they doubled banker space, yet added loads of new items, upgrading many items and kept other items not stacking )

there is huge problem everyone faces in game - lack of inventory space.
can you at the very least make all items of same type stackable in 1k stacks like in crafting bag! increase current stacks to 1k, lot of them are 100-200 still...

list of items that take up inventory space:

    > uncracked transmutation geodes
    > writ rewards -
    - provisioner's pack
    - enchanter's coffer
    - alchemist's vessel
    - clothier's satchel
    - blacksmith's crate
    - woodworker's case
    > cyrodiil - siege items
    > cyrodiil - rewards for the worthy
    > daily/repeatable quest rewards
    > identical enchanting glyphs

I don't see this a problem with the exception of seige weapons

First off, perhaps OP should seek some counseling because being a hoarder is not something healthy. Second, with the huge boost to inventory space given to ESO+ members a short time ago, subscribing would solve much of OP's problem. Third, OP hasn't stated whether or not he has upgraded his inventory space on all his characters; ZOS isn't going to introduce something that takes away from them making money off inventory upgrading.

I won't comment on the first point, but on the second point I do think it's fair enough that non-subscribers do now get some sort of improvement albeit one that falls well short of the subscribers' crafting bag.

On the third point, we do of course know from official comments that the current ZOS approach to inventory space expansion is based on their data showing the extent to which players have not in fact increased their inventory space to the present maximum. That presumably demonstrates to them more effectively than a few contrary forum threads that allocation of developer resources to implement further inventory expansion simply isn't warranted at the present time.

Would be nice if jewelry stacked.

would also be nice if I could just cram a bunch of that stuff in one of my many homes.

and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

ESO+ boom solved your inventory problem. Crafting mat bag no space restrictions, double the bank space. Now that you can change traits, and soon motiff style of armor there is even less reason to hold onto every single piece of set armor you get. That being said with ESO+ and at least 400 bank spaces it shouldn't be an issue.

i had eso+ for awhile, it does help but it doesn't solve problem fully. even with eso+ inventory managing is a problem, there are so many interesting items in game and more are coming with every update

*points at signature* I have ESO+ and 2500+ inventory slots across two accounts, plus storage houses where I shove unneeded furniture. My "problem" is that I keep gear in good traits, even if I don't have a character to use it right then; it saves me from having to re-farm all my gear every three months because I can go into my inventory instead of run CoA over and over and over- The double bank space helps, and the crafting bag helps a lot, but there are so many sets and items that storage is still a problem.

I go through every month or two to get rid of duplicates, but the items add up. I even have a list of who I can send my extra treasure maps to.

I wonder if there's a correlation between time played and having inventory problems, especially if it's mediated by the kinds of content participated in. (Like PvP vs dungeons vs questing.)

Oi, not cool: dealing with ESO's intentionally restrictive inventory policy is a different thing from an anxiety disorder.

And for perspective, the "massive" increase in space was the equivalent of one inventory mule + 40 spots, at most.

Fwiw the data they've given us is incomplete. It's cheaper - in time and in irl money - to start a new character than to get those last few pack upgrades, and it's a pita to get those full 60 riding slots, so the percentage of people with 200/200 inventory on all characters doesn't represent the number of people with inventory problems. As well, I'm under the impression that the "less than 50% of players have ever upgraded their inventory" thing included accounts created to try the game then abandoned, and not only those people with more than 30 hours play time.
