I had the sense that they were seasonal, but I also remembered getting Storm Atronach crates with Christmas money last year. Per the site you referenced:

Should be. So far, I believe they've dropped in the second half of each fourth month - the third or 4th week. So if they keep to that schedule:
September 28 --> October --> November --> December 18-30. That's me, I want those flame atronach crates. So much. All Teh Things. I want them enough that I am re-working my December/Christmas budget so I can make sure I have Crowns available. But it isn't an easy month to re-budget, so dates are important.

You may want to also wait and see if they have a Black Friday crown sale again this year; that way, you'll be all set. This month's showcase didn't have much in it. The season of crown crates will last for at least a couple of years. They are clearly superior to plain cash shop, let alone subscriptions, therefore online casinos, unless they trip some regulation, will not hurry to replace them.
Though RNG-based crates may get replaced by nonrandom crates, where montezitation AI will process user data and dose rewards to each payer individually, at personalized rate, which will ecourage given payer to spend maximum amount of money.1
