I have an altmer magplar but consider changing it to an argonian. I mainly solo play. Prefer light over heavy armor.
What do you pro magplars think is overall best race for pvp?

For pvp, Argonians are pretty OP with their passives. If you wanna deal more damage, Altmer do better.

Only for PvP, argonian do best job as Magplar!

But in total, when you play PvE too, Altmer are very good. Argonians have much more survivalbility and sustain over pots. Altmers have more damage. Its your choose, what you want to play. For exemple in vMSA you arent go a really good score, when you are an argonian, because of the missing damage...

Breton magplar is king in my book after playing all three, but each has benefits.

Breton: high max magicka, reduced cost, magicka resistance. Just run soo smooth and gives us alittle more defense against sorcs, magdks, and other Magplars. Highly suggested for all around best.

Argonians: great sustain thru potion passive, best healz, extra life, alittle poison resistance. I will never disagree with someone going Argo for magplar in PvP, PvE not as great. If you want to be a healer in PvP look no further...plus that tail!!

Altemer, best mag recov, high magicka pool, elemental dmg. Altemers will always hit the hardest in PvP and PvE. If you want deeps, better roll altemer...

Argonian is BIS for ~85% of PVP builds. I can't think of a build I run that would be better on a race that wasn't Argonian.

The potion passive of Argonians is too good to miss for a magplar in pvp

For Magplar I would say pick both. However one of my Friend is very Top player from AD side in Cyrodiil. She is so OP, huge damage with good healing.

Whom is a high Elf Magplar in which is a Vampire to say. I'm honestly scared of her damage lol. Goes right through me and still does. Whom originally from Scourge PS4 EU and usually play Thornblade more, until campaign got deleted.

But go with your instinct, choose what your instinct calls. But play both honestly it will help you decide. But if you wanted a Challenge go with a Imperial Magplar. Princess Justine could say the same. Princess Justine used to be a Magplar for DC, as Magplar still. When Princess Justine moved to AD.

Princess Justine does very well, last time I visited AD; not so long ago. Princess Justine is an Imperial and challenging. Princess Justine enjoys the rush of being a hybrid magic damage and healer if needed. But Princess Justine does very well and very happy at what she does. But if you only want a challenge, go with Imperial Magplar.

Definitely don’t go with imperial magplar...

Wearing light armour would suggest you prefer to do dmg and therefor altmer is your best choice for raw dmg.

However a light armour magplar is one of the worst classes to run solo with. I just made the switch after 3 or so years from altmer to argonian it is very strong.

I would highly recommend heavy armour argonian magplar for solo play. You can survive anything but a Zerg with immov pots, rune, shield ultimate and mist form. And if you have good line of sight you will be difficult to kill, if you slot malubeth you will rarely die :-)

Argonian is master race for PVP I will never look back.

Princess Justine is a pretty pretty princess. Princess Justine gives terrible advice if Princess Justine tells you to pick Imperial for Princess Justine.

nope, for a stam dk khajit is the best option for damage. redguard - for sustain. orc - for hp, so u can use 7 medium without any problems.

Only Bretons can roll LA Templars. Reason being, their cost reduction+ spell resistances stack with LA. You'll look at a 17% cost reduction to mag spells, with a 20% Regen and crit/penetration boost from LA and 8415 extra spell resists.

When combined with the resists from LA, and a set that gives extra resists, you be are looking at around 26k spell resists. This let's you stack hard into physical, direct+dot mitigation to equal out the weakness of LA; low physical resists.

And if you think about how reliably Templars can proc transmutation, you can stack enough crit resistance through CP to think about playing without a magic shield; whose high cost conflicts with the high cost of your class spells. Think about it, with defending traits, you'll be at around 29-30k spell resists similar to HA users but have superior crit+penetration+cost reduction, and can shift CP from ele defender to crit resistance+hardy.

I’m absolutely not saying you cannot run LA magplar I am saying this is one of the worst class setups to run solo with.
