Syncing Data

GUNzales
GUNzales
At the title screen I get a screen that says Syncing data for The Elder Scrolls Online then it goes to another screen saying We couldn't get your latest saved data, try again. It just keeps repeating this over and over.

So far I have tried hard resetting my console, erasing my saved data, restarted my modem, and erased my gamer profile from the Xbox and added it back and I keeping getting the Syncing Data screen

As you've already tried restarting your modem, you may want to try connecting with your Xbox as the only device using your internet connection. You can also try clearing the mac address on the Xbox and performing a connection test.

    Perform a Connection Test

You can perform a connection test on your Xbox One by following the process below:
    1. Press the [Menu] button on the controller.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select Network.
    4. In the second column titled Current Network Stats, check the NAT status and confirm whether it is reading that your console is running on wireless or Ethernet correctly. The NAT should show as Open.
    5. For troubleshooting a disconnect in your connection, select Troubleshooting and then Test Network Connection.
    6. The NAT types can be one of the following:
      • OPEN: Can play games with any other NAT type.
      • MODERATE: Can play games with open or moderate NAT types.
      • STRICT: Can only play against open NAT types.

    Clear the Mac Address

You can clear the Mac Address on your console by following the steps below:
    1. Press Start at the main Xbox One menu.
    2. Navigate to Settings.
    3. Select Network Settings, Advanced Settings, Alternative Mac Address, and finally Clear.
    4. Restart and shut down the Xbox One. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the console and wait two minutes.
    5. Once the two minutes have passed, plug the power back in and wait for the power bricks light to go from white to orange.
    6. When the light switches to orange, reboot the console and try the game again.

In theory you should only see this when you can’t connect to Xbox Live reliably OR if your bandwidth is for some reason to low.

Now I️ noticed you posted this on Nov 5th prior to the Nov 6th NA server issues. If it’s only for this game and not others, then it’s more than likely not a connection issue with Xbox Live.

Being that you’ve deleted your local and Xbox Live save simultaneously (right?) what should happen is the game upon being launched cold, should connect and sync the save not from Xbox Live but from the game and make a new sync to save.

Try changing the Xbox to energy save mode.
Delete the save locally and on Xbox Live.
    Then shut down the Xbox.

Wait for it to fully shut down and then start it back up....wait....let the home screen load.
Then launch the game, if that doesn’t work it may Be ZOS server related so you’d have to open a ticket and they can see if your save is messed up or something.

Good luck but hopefully the energy save change resolves it.
