G-Sync problem?

Whenever G-sync is enabled, playing ESO in borderless makes the game screen flicker from a black screen to the game again, black screen for a few seconds, then the game.
I used to play on borderless fine even with G-sync, this problem only happened with fullscreen.
Now I'm playing in windowed which makes the game fine, but I'm wondering why borderless isn't working anymore.

icecb16_ESO✭✭I used to get this when Geforce Experience needed updating and I also updated the nvidia driver and it seemed to fix the g-force issue. Not sure why it would start flickering like that.. but i did those steps and it fixed it.1
