Warden takes longer to go "out of combat" ?

I went on nTrials with my magicka warden this week several times and I discovered that it takes significantly longer to get out of combat after a fight. A friend reported the same issue, and I was woundering if it is the same for you guys, and does it happen only for trials or any fights you encounter?

if this is confirmed it is a pretty irritating bug which causes all of the party members to wait for you to get out of combat to go through a door or loot a chest or heavy sack.

Idk but my toons can take forever to get out of combat, not mag wardens. Even some weird issue where I can switch out skills but can’t mount my horse.

Cant tell if it is just warden, because thats the class I play 99% of the time since Morrowind, but yeah, since Morrowind, I noticed this trend

There has been a bug since Morrowind where if you use a wayshrine to escape combat you stay in combat until you relog. They mostly fixed it, but it definitely takes longer to get out of combat.

I have noticed it happens usually in 2 situations most often:
    1) You kill something so fast with a skill that it doesn't quite register properly, often while it may be summoning help, or just like a neutral mouse or deer with a single light attack. It was dead before you entered combat so you stay in for 10 seconds to make sure you don't get hit or trigger combat again, as if you ran away.
    2) You have a pet that somehow still stays triggered the same as above.

It seems to be because the combat status check happens after 10 seconds because of a final hit that occurs at the moment of, or because of lag slightly after, combat actually ends which it considers another fight starting.

    Were you using any pets?
    Were you the Healer?

I haven't noticed any problems with my Magicka Warden, but then I always heal so I'm used to taking longer than others to get out of combat. (You don't get released until the last tick of your heals over time.)

    Also, pets are buggy :)

I've noticed that in PVP healers take longer to get out of combat because of their heals over time.

Seems related to pets actually. I have to literally desummon mine in dungeons to through some doors.

I'm wondering if this is related to the Lotus Flower skill (the one which heals you or allies when you use light or heavy attacks). It's about the only skill in common between my Warden's build and my friend's build. Need to do some more investigation.

It's not, as I don't have it slotted and it still take a [snip] of time to get out of combat

Interesting I have been thinking I can't seem to get out of combat, but I hadn't thought about it being a Warden thing. It makes sense though since I've been playing the Wardens throughout this event.

I experienced this problem when others in the group casted a skill (or gained a buff) what was applying on me also, like Minor Savagery from nightblades and Major Brutality from dragonknights. Only when it was applied in the last seconds of the fight.

Seems to happen without pets, I got frustrated with them ages back and certainly don’t use them now. The only thing that works for me is killing something else to make the game think again or opening boxes and such, gets very annoying in dungeons where I have to backtrack to find a critter to kill because I can’t use the dam door :/

It gets out combat faster for some reason if I recast my netch and then another skill. Or if I just move away from the location that put me in combat.

I apologize for dragging out an old thread, but upon searching to make sure I wasn't starting a new one for something already addressed it eventually led me back to this. Seemingly this was the first time it was mentioned and its still happening daily to wardens everywhere. My specific concerns involve PvP in Cyro and the amount of time past the rest of your allies a warden stays "in combat" beyond an engagement with enemies preventing them from mounting. It is has become an even bigger/longer issue since Summerset. The worst of it occurs when gate guards or temple guards have been aggro'd when at an enemy faction's scroll temple. It is detrimental to the group as a whole and it needs to be looked at. Can we get some kind of response from a dev as to whether or not its atleast being considered and worked on? As much laughs as we've had in discord about how the warden might as well run the scroll cause they won't be mounting until they're three keeps deep to their destination from where one last guard was aggro'd at the gate, its getting old and I'm pretty sure we'd all like a fix. Oct of 2017 makes me feel like its about time this gets some attention.

Pretty sure its the netch, but can't 100% reproduce. It's definitely a warden issue, it just takes a lot longer to get out of combat in many situations. I even randomly get into combat sometimes in the middle of crafting. Might be related to the netch dying when its time runs out.
