The desync happens more often than you think really. I had no idea that this happens in particular with those Flameshapers, as I’ve never encountered that particular bug until recently.
However, I have been experiencing said bug even outside of the Maelstrom Arena. I could be dueling someone, attempt to bash with my shield, and nothing will happen. This occurs especially when facing either Sorcerers or Templars to be specific.
