Help with PvE Stamplar

A couple days ago, I won a guild raffle. I could pick any 5pc crafted set in the game and have it crafted, at no cost to me. I ended up with Night Mother's Gaze, as I thought it is good in PvE. It is good in PvE, but what other sets to use for a PvE stamplar? I don't have anyone to farm trials with unfortunately, so I can't really farm Twice-Fanged or Vicious Serpent.

Sunderflame for group support assuming you have 1-2 heavy attacks in your rotation, spriggan's thorns for solo play, tho you can join a random group in zone doing normal runs for twice fanged and/or Vicious ophidian.

For stamina players there´re a few sets that goes for all stamina builds at the moment:

* Vicious Ophidian
* Night Mother´s Gaze
* Sunderflame
* Two-fanged snake
* Hunding´s Rage
* War Machine

Monster Helmet: Velidreth, Mephala, Kragh

Any combo of these sets (Not 2 craftable at the same time since that´s not possible) will make you good to go.

I would say yes, if you get your hands on Two-Fanged Snake you can use that instead, but Spriggan is a good option.

NMG is a very solid set. You can pair it with an overland set for a good beginner's setup. If you want to do vMA I would suggest to have it cafted with heavy chest and light waist piece for a bit more health from Undaunted Mettle passive. I've paired it with Vicious Ophidian on my NB, but if you said you haven't done trials yet there are other sets you can pair with. A good choice would be Briarheart, since it's pretty cheap in guild stores, unless you go for weapons; you can have the weapons crafted from the NMG set for now. If you really have trouble sustaining you can go with Bone Pirate's Tatters and run Dubious Camoran Throne - that's why I was recommending 1/5/1 setup, since running that will full medium will leave your health really low. Your recovery will be good enough to run with Warrior mundus, instead of serpent, for sustain.

In detail:
5 NMG: 2 daggers on front bar, heavy chest, light waist, medium legs; armor pieces with divines trait with maximum stamina enchant, main hand dagger nirnhoned with poison enchant, offhand and bow sharpened with berserker.
5 Briarheart or Bone Pirate's Tatters: jewels robust with weapon damage enchant, feet, hands, armor divines trait with maximum stamina enchant
2 Kra'gh medium (preferably divines but trait doesn't matter that much especially now when you can change it easily) with maximum stamina enchants.

I don't know how many CP you have but the above gear should give you about 5.2K penetration. With PotL you will be at 6.5K penetration. Mobs in vMA have an average of 12K so don't hesitate to put another 40-50 CP in Piercing for 3.5K-4K more if you have them bringing that to about 10-10.5K.
