Does retraiting have visual impact on weapon (Moondancer staff) ?

I retraited Moondancer lightning staff to sharpened and it looks all red now , no blue glow and the other cool effect isnt showing up too. is that normal or what ?

✭✭✭✭✭Make sure you send an in-game bug ticket as well ... that's not fun losing the animation due to re-trait.
