I'm not saying you guys should ban all the racists, but at least the people that start these threads. It is simply disgusting. Do you tolerate racists in your real life? I guess not. Then, why do it on your online property?
The Lore supports open prejudice against the beast races, so people use that as an excuse to "roleplay" that prejudice on the forum without fear of backlash, cause, yknow, "its just a game bro".
So you're saying because it exists, it's ok to exercise it? Why would you want to roleplay this, my "it's just a game" friend?

✭✭OtherAs races, they are very much like the others. There are many beast races in Tamriel, such as the Imga and the Lilmothiit (rip). From a lore perspective, however, you can see they do indeed stand apart from the non beast races quite significantly. There is a lot left unexplored with both races, but if you've ever seen an Argonian Behemoth in game, you know what sorts of things these races are capable of.Struggling to find a new class to call home.Please send help.1 -

@Rainraven In the 4th Era, this kind of does happen. The Argonians do a mass raid of Morrowind, with Mournhold being sacked. It was halted, but many Dunmer fled the land, hence why you see so many as refugees in Windhelm.Struggling to find a new class to call home.Please send help.2 -

It's not racist. Argonians and Khajit are evil! The prophet told me he read it in an Elder Scroll, and we all know the Elder Scrolls don't lie! That is why the cat folks and the lizard folks can be rightfully held as slaves, pets, eaten etc or killed, as rightful punishment for being so evil.1 -

In RPGs, including this one, players may choose to roleplay very flawed or outright evil characters... there's nothing wrong with playing a racist character, just like there is nothing wrong with playing a greedy thief or an assassin.

CardboardedBox✭✭✭✭People, just like everyone elseKhajiits are pretty normal as far as the races go, but Argonians while clearly sentient, or at least as much as someone who's high 24/7, are typically up for debate on if they're.... "normal people", or just average lizards that were force evolved, and given humanoid bodies and the ability to talk, by the hist trees to protect them. It's questionable if the Argonians are in complete control of their own minds and bodies, or if they're just the puppets of trees.
I still think they're cool though.0
