@ZOS should also implement a "class" change token. The reasoning of having both alliance and class change is because this will influence people to buy "race" and "name" change tokens, meaning much more money for @ZOS.

you don't have to abandon the idea of faction changing, you just have to give the players an incentive to play on the underdog faction. that can easily be achieved with better rewards, in game cyrodiil buffs and so on.
if the pvp campaigns would be that big of a deal, most of the players would have switched already. giving the underdog better rewards in conjunction with a change token might even improve the balance in certain campaigns.2 -

✭✭✭i'd like a faction change token. having the choice to switch is not a bad thing.
the whole discussion about bandwagoning, factionhopping to the winning side is based on a false premise.
you don't have to abandon the idea of faction changing, you just have to give the players an incentive to play on the underdog faction. that can easily be achieved with better rewards, in game cyrodiil buffs and so on.
if the pvp campaigns would be that big of a deal, most of the players would have switched already. giving the underdog better rewards in conjunction with a change token might even improve the balance in certain campaigns.

If it's PvP well having three factions and having toons on each is one thing that helps to balance things out somewhat. It's made DAoC PvP so good. If one faction became to strong the other 2 could work together and help balance things out.

✭✭✭Why don’t you just ask ZOS for a scroll on the crown store that lets you change race, alliance, class, grants you level 50 and max CP, maxes out all skill lines, grants all skyshards, and lets you choose legendary gear. I've made a couple of posts mentioning these ideas, ideas I would love to see become a reality, but these things don't exist yet.1 -

As PvP is now it won't. I actually think this could help. There are a lot if plp that have only one main because of time and they would like to play with there friends and they should have that option. They may have never thought of doing PvP until they were comfortable.0 -
