4.9k Wep-Dmg Bowplar Build/Gameplay

It's time for the Bowplar! A Stamina Templar that's fast on its feet and hits like a truck from 40 meters away, this is one hell of a kite build. We are even rocking the double bow (and crossbow!) as a testament to the bow life. This opens up an interesting mainhand/offhand bow play style that can be very rewarding! Hope you guys enjoy the video!

Equipment: Bow/Bow - 5 Med 1 Light 1 Heavy

Sets: 5 Hundings Rage (Main Bow), 5 Senche's Bite (Off Bow), 2 Slimecraw

I always find it amusing that when a person's build is weak to another build, or not part of the meta, the other build is labeled "disgusting," "cancer," "skilless," or the like.

I also find it amusing that long-range is labeled a non-fight when it has to do with bows, but not with other builds.

Edit: Wtf, I started to watch his video and he is toe to toe with the enemy...

Edit2: Almost all of the clips are toe to toe...

No offense but its a video game, and there is nothing inherently"avoid any fight" about a ranged build.

The only people that get triggered by this are those that think there is somekind of honor code elite skill in playing toe to toe vs playing a ranged kite build or all in ranged gank build.

He's not avoiding any fights though on the video (unless you only watched the beginning of the tower clip).

To play bow effectively, you need to combo the Snipe with other skills (e.g. Javelin+Silver Shards like @JackDaniell does on the video), and those skills have the same range as any other ranged skill (e.g. Frag, Curse, Crushing Shock, Destructive Reach, Staff heavy attack... see where I'm going with this?) - this means you can't just "avoid fights".

He's not even playing a NB & cloaking/sneaking around, so I don't think that criticism is accurate, or even fair :P

This guys has the most unique and fun stamplar builds you can find.
I always enjoy watching the Videos and seeing that so many builds are viable outside of the normal "meta" builds

I think its beautiful.

Some very nice theory crafting went into this and you are never obliged to play in any way thats deemed accetpable or unaceptable to other players.

Id admire being killed by this or fighting this build because it for once, would be something different that id have to quickly adjust too. Its how I like to make my builds too.

Why did you chose Nord? I am guessing for the health regen? I am trying to copy your build but am having horrible sustain issues with stam.. Guess the CP points are not doing the trick for me. Would not a Dumner or if for health passives an Imperial be better suited for this?

I think it's his best build to date. Watching the snipe combos were beautiful.

I want to first say, as long as you're having fun.

Aside from that, I don't see this working on competent players or taking any type of pressure well. In addition, snipe is extremely glitchy at the moment.

ZOS took it from the last bow skill to the first, to cater to casual players. I know it's not an issue on PC, but on console it desyncs your health and is currently the most exploited skill in the game.

But like I said, as long as you're having fun...
