Hello. sorry if i'm bit cranky but I hadn't been able get load the character screen after putting in my id/password in. I've been trying to play since this morning after I downloaded the patch,to no god damn avail I haven't been able play all day and this is making me go through eso withdrawals. I've was able play fine yesterday, until last night I hit a bug trying load into Daggerfall's Thieve's den

I've literally tried everything. from repairing the game to changing my ini file setting. I do not want reinstall the game since my internet provider throttles my net to all hell. Even google has failed to provide me with a fix.

I don't know what to do about it. May as well stop becuase it won't let me play today

Since a repair and removing add-ons hasn't help, the loading screens could be caused by a permissions issue. Check your anti-virus settings and make sure the game is set to run as an administrator.

    Add Anti-virus and firewall exceptions

The application files that may require exceptions are:
    • Bethesda.net_launcher: C:\Program Files (x86)\ZenimaxOnline\Launcher
    • ESO.exe: C:\Program Files (x86)\ZenimaxOnline\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client\eso.exe
    • Steam.exe: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe

For some anti-virus programs you may need to add entire folders as exceptions.
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\

Run launcher and game as an administrator
    1. Right-click on the game Launcher and select Properties.
    2. Navigate to the Compatibility tab.
    3. Check the box that says Run as Administrator.
    4. Click Apply and then OK.
    5. Repeat these steps for ESO.exe, located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\Game\Client (by default).

Please let us know if these steps help. If they don't, the next thing you can do is contact customer support.

That helped little but for some reason loading kinda is slower. I did finally load in after i went in my nvidia control panel and set my preferred processor to my GPU which is the GTX 1050 in the PhysX settings
