I've been farming the bosses in the hew's bane and gold coast delves. maybe not the most efficant but I've been needing to finish the motiffs in that region anyway

Gold Coast is actually pretty good to farm them if you need a brake from the group dungeons. In both delves you can run directly to the boss in maybe 10-15 sec. and the ride between the delves is long enough to beat the timer on the skulls.

I was also spending quite some time in bangkorai, the delve located south east of the map - Klathzgar - is also one of those where you can run to the boss in a couple of seconds, kill him and then join the world boss train who are doing summners camp, lakewatch tower and the other one...

I would suggest normal dungeons - they are easy soloable and no one will get in a way\kill your bosses.
It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt,
It lies behind stars and under hills,
    And empty holes it fills,
It comes first and follows after,
    Ends life, kills laughter.

And for God's sake...if you see several players not attacking a boss that has spawned...please do not start attacking!!!!

If folks want to make sure they make the most out of their 3min wait timer, they are best making a group (or solo) and going to a private instance of some sort.

Asking people not to attack bosses is one thing, but don't expect them not to do so. It is, after all, a public area and they have just as much right to the mob as anyone else.

Ultimately, if you want skulls at regular intervals without selfishly asking others to adhere to your time schedule, go to an instance.

Most reliable is nMA. I did dungeons with random groups and only half the bosses dropped them because they died too fast.
Hoping for an low dps group :)
    Getting it and RoM :)

I actually ended up doing all DLC dungeons on my Sorcerer at least once when I farmed skulls on Saturday by queueing for random normals - I queued as soon as the dungeon was finished and jumped directly to the new one. RoM was good because the dungeon is long and it takes more than 3 minutes to walk from one boss to the other but the overall efficiency is low exactly for that reason: you could run two COA1 in the same time and collect more skulls even if some of the minibosses don't drop any. I ticked both tank and DD, I almost invariably ended up as the tank - guilty as charged as "fake tank" - and did between 55% and 87% of group DPS. For example someone was stuck in Darkshade 2 at the Engine Guardian and it went down so fast I was surprised when a certain hysterical daedra didn't yell "Victory" at the end; even found myself looking for the portal do the next arena :D

I'm actually curious whether I'll receive crystal/geode for vMA weekly leaderboard when I log in after work, as in, whether it counts as new patch or old patch reward? I guess I'll find out in few hours.

I am all for them attacking whenever they want...but then qq'ing afterwards that nobody helped them defeat a group dungeon boss shouldn't be part of the equation either... a CP 660 FORMER EMPRESS died 5 times to a GROUP DUNGEON boss and then had the gall to complain that she got no help...nobody helped her because it was so entertaining to watch and initially we were still on cool down...

So I thought people might want to know of a really good instanced place that got can easily farm skulls as soon as the cool down expires. In the mage's staff instance in Crafton there is a mini gauntlet of 3 bosses. What you can do is kill the first boss for a skull and then either die to one of the adds that the boss spawns or die to the second boss. This causes the bosses to reset allowing you to kill the first boss again when the 3ish minutes are up.

wait, where is this instance again in more details pls?

My friends and I have been using just a minidolmen near a wayshrine. It spawns like a clock 5 min and 4 seconds after you kill its 'boss'. Easy, relaxing, a skull every ~5 1/2 minutes. We've been enjoying playing the lute, drinking, dancing, chatting in between too much to stop even though we've lost count of the skulls. Lol.

Why would you want to specifically farm plunder skulls? I just play the game doing normal dungeons, vet pledges, delves for skyshards, killing worlds bosses that I haven't killed before etc etc. I have got hundreds of skulls.

I farm a certain public dungeon. It's not always reliable for the 3 minute timer, but I'm making a decent amount of gold otherwise.

The best spot to farm is not just one that gets you plunder skulls easily, but gives you the most for your time. That is why I find the best spot is actually the Obsidian Scar in Rivinspire.

    Benefits of Obsidian Scar Farm:
    1. 8+ bosses
    2. Farm Necro gear
    3. Decent gold (Lots of junk items, huge benefit if you have the merchant assistant. Average of about 10k/hour)
    4. Decent XP (lots of weak trash mobs)
    5. No idle time, you are always doing something
    6. Easy to navigate, simple farm route

With this route you will not get skulls from every boss because you will be encountering them so fast. But each boss will have respawned by the time you get back to them. The only time they wont is if someone else is killing them in a different rotation than yours. Which is fine, because you probably weren't gonna get a skull from them anyway and there are plenty of bosses. So you just keep moving and eventually you will find one.

This spot is best for people with a large inventory space and a merchant assistant. I was making, on average, 10k an hour just by selling junk items to my merchant. And you can potentially make much more than that depending on if anyone wants to buy the tons of necro gear you will get. Don't rely too much on selling necro stuff though. The market is getting really saturated, at least on Xbox NA. Even for BiS traits.

But the most important thing to me about this spot is that you are always doing something. Its not that boring, compared to other places where you might be standing around some of the time or something.
