Youre paying and there is nothing else to it. The problem the pve people have, and you have my absolute sympathy on this as a pvp only player, is you must have some unbelievable whales buying crap up in the store.
I mean the prices are hilarious, no wonder drop rates are so low.
Thing about these gaming companies is that you can cry all you want, you won't changing their minds if they decided to make money this way. Some MMOs create paid classes and make them op. You can cry for a nerf all you want, they never do it. Some games put BiS gear in lootboxes and keys in the store. You can whine about it, it won't matter. ESO is at least not p2w. They decided to tease stuff in-game and then sell it in the store, so this is how it's gonna be.

That’s mostly true, but they’re being insanely greedy now. The Clockwork City home, as I’ve heard, is already crown-exclusive and costs 8000 crowns. The least could’ve done is keep the furnishing drop rate decent.

Throw us a bone ZoS!
Please stop defending their greed.Narvuntien wrote: »This just in, game companies have to make money. As long as they refrain from pay2win, they can sell whatever the hell they want.
Housing and furnishing offers no in game advantages they are all for show.. you want to look pretty you want a pretty house.. pay for it. Think its too expensive.. don't buy it.
Same goes for costumes and mounts, *shrug* I mean why does it even matter? does it matter to you?... pay for it.
What are the motifs for?, looking pretty.... again pointless, I collect plenty of normal motifs for reasonable prices.. I get plenty of master writs and i sell the writs I can't use.
You just want free stuff, stuff that just looks shiny but has no real impact on the game. They can sell whatever they want and as long as enough people are willing to pay for it they will keep doing it. So either spend the money or don't buy it its up to you.
I mean I haven't bought morrowind because I just feel like the asking price is too much but I feel like clockwork city is actually quite good value, especially for the artist work that went into it. I might pick it up next crown sale.
