Is Treasure Chests Having a Chance To Spawn A Transmute Stone, Too Much Too Ask?

Treasure chests aren't really considered that much important in the game at the moment to be honest.
Maybe that can be changed with them having a chance to spawn a Transmute Crystal or two.

Urza1234✭✭✭✭DisagreePersonally I dont like farming money, I strategize my play so that I dont have to farm. However, on the blue moons when I do decide to farm money my prefered way is already to take treasure maps, then use Harvest Map in that area, and go collect boxes. Treasure Hunting is by far the most fun way to farm coin Ive found. I certainly wouldnt say no to being able to also find geodes.
The drop rates would have to be ridiculously low though, or those boxes would be abused.0 -

Starter island maps selling well again in 3... 2... 1...I would like the treasure map chests to have them. That would make them a bit more relevant again.

✭AgreeYes, it is too much to ask to put transmute crystals in treasure chests.
The entire point of transmute is to SHORTEN your farm for BOUND gear. Thus, the crystals come from sources that drop said BOUND gear or from PvP (where players often have to farm PvE sets to be effective but prefer to PvP - thus they can get the drop they need, in any trait, then return to PvP where they would rather play to farm Crystals to change the trait)
I also think you should have worded your question better as I am sure people will click Agree thinking that means they want Crystals in chests.0 -

I like the idea, but I also consider Treasure Maps important. Right before I am about to grind a gear set, i will buy all of the treasure maps in guild traders under 500 gold for the zone I need. For a set like Necro, spending 10k on treasure maps can net you 150K+ on selling the pieces you do not need. Plus, while grinding the maps, you can farm regular chests, world bosses and resources. It makes searching for the gear you need so much easier and valuable. More of a chance at weapons and jewelry without farming the same pair of boots for the 50th time in a Public dungeon.0
