BLESSED THISTLE

Which ZOS genius broke the spawn rate of blessed thistle, et al? Not only is it now rarely, if ever, found at guild traders, but trying to provision it seems nearly impossible, since one would first need to know where to look. So, after some google searches, historically it appears that anyone should be able to find it in starting areas. Yeah...not so much. After aimlessly travelling around looking, it appears that now'a'days we're lucky to find pretty much anything. Of course, one-offs don't do much good. At least when ancestor silk was first released, at least you knew where to look, which was then simply a matter waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting. Now, I suppose we should be feel thankful for getting screwed so graciously.

Whatever you guy are getting paid is too much...

With 1T the spawns for herbs in starter zones changed to include all the items instead of just limited selections, that's why the old info is now obsolete on that.

Are you on PC? If so you can get an addon that will track your harvest nodes and mark the map. If you like, you can flag only the herbs and work out a path to run if you'd like to harvest it.

If you also want to aid in your guild store searches, there's also TTC's website: https://us.tamrieltradecentre.com/
That might make it easier to get to them, since it sorts by time.

I've found between alchemy maps and writ rewards that I've got more of any herb than I know what to do with, so that might be a route to explore.

Hope some of this might help.

If you don't see it on guild stores, look again in a few hours. At times rich alchemists will clear out entire cities of a specific herb, if they need it badly. It takes time for people to notice their items sold and list more, if they have it.

I think I've seen it all now. Someone complaining the drop rate of Blessed Thistle is too low. Even if this is true, which I doubt, why not just buy it from guild stores at a crazy low price and sell the thing you pulled instead which is most definitely worth more gold anyway.

It's no rarer than the other high-end flower.

it only seems rare as most harvesting drones miss it, along with mountain flower and columbine.
All are just difficult to see. All three flowers are usually all that remains after the guild factory staff have done their sweep.

Along with torchbugs. And the TAs.

I got suspenders for saying "Testicular Mass" instead of "Balls". like, rilly.

I have my own personal stash of the stuff, I need it for my immovable stam pots in PVP.

I have also actually put a point into the passive that lights up alchemy mats. Alchemy mats are my best sellers, I suggest that anyone looking to make some gold put that point into the passive and go and actually pick the stuff up.
