You can just have the lowbie crouch and sneak through. The mobs are sleeping

Enable custom colors for AoE effects.
Take the “Glow” slider all the way to the right
The glow is far more significant a change than changing the color

Is it ever optimal to open the chest? It takes forever to go through all the enemy waves. I think you'd be better of just running the two sides and resetting. Has someone compared their XP/hour gain with and without opening the chest?
With both players being high level (grinding CP), you can pull both sides simultaneously, meet in middle, and then nuke.Edited by MLGProPlayer on October 27, 2017 9:14PM0 -

Have you ever actually compared your XP/hour gains? I will often do zombie farming instead of Skyreach because I don't feel like looking for a partner, but I don't think it's more effective, it's just more convenient.

You can’t open the chest if you’re in combat, so stealthing allows you to pull the room and do the chest at the same time and save a minute or two

If you have one person gather all mobs from the chest room (and the following one) while another player stealth opens the chest, you can do the event at the same time as clearing mobs.

You may have done it faster if you're higher cp/not in training gear/with a partner

You can absolutely do the event and the mobs in the room! However, it's often more trouble than it's worth, as it messes with how the ads stack up. Which is why I did them separately0 -

It is absolutely optimal to open the chest. Also, if you "gather the sides and nuke at the end" a lot of the mobs end up getting stuck in the wall along the way or arrive late, delaying the pull. This would be fine, only when they stealth-nerfed skyreach they took away the xp certain enemies give completely.. so if the wrong mobs get stuck/deaggro, your xp/h is slowed considerably0 -

Oh, so if you spawn the chest without aggroing the mobs, will the mobs continue to spawn (like if you do the chest normally) and stack up for you?

✭anyone can do skyreach with full gear and all skills slotted- in three pulls.
the trick is to do it with all ur skills on ur backbar- only one spammable skill on ur front bar- so ur levelling 5 skills on ur front bar at once.

You're right anyone CAN do it; most people just don't know how to group the ads properly, so you don't waste time chasing 1's and 2's around0
