It works great if you're one of those people who likes to hang around and squirrel away to try to draw suckers off by themselves to places with LOS escapes so you can either get a quick kill 1v1 or run around a rock or tree to escape and heal if your opponent survives your opening burst and starts fighting back but if you're trying to take keeps/resources where you'll face multiple enemies in the open so your faction can actually compete it's utter garbage. Not even NB's have to go with such extremely fragile builds to get kills; but at least if they do they have a chance to cloak and escape when outnumbered.THEDKEXPERIENCE wrote: »What's a Templar? Is that some kind of new Sorcerer build?
With my 52k Magicka I’ve been accused of that. Honestly guys if you’re having issues with DPS just take off your proc and stack as much Magicka as you can. It’ll be up to you to figure out how to survive wearing paper but I’ve managed. It’s not impossible.
Funny you say that because I’ve found the opposite. Also I always have an invisibly plus speed potion equipped when off the beaten path. Give that a try.
I have been running with speed plus immovable on my heavy Templar and it is very nice to have the mobility, but even with 40K magic and 3500 SD buffed plus around 11500 penetration my sweeps feel weak since it's still hard to land them against a competent opponent who just moves through you when you try to face up to target them and the stuns available to the class are all so short that doesn't really help either. I truthfully think my Templar is going on the shelf for awhile as I just finished leveling and gearing my first Sorc and the combination of strong defense from 24K worth of shields, mobility from streak, and crazy high burst is just too much fun. My crushing shock is hitting for 5K+ per cast on heavy armor wearers and 7-12K on medium and light! From the safety of 28M even. It's so easy to kill most players with curse and couple of crushing shocks and then a procced frag and maybe a mages wrath if the execute is even needed. I've been just amazed at how quickly I can burst people compared to my Templar. It's not the extra penetration from light armor either since my Fire staff is decisive on the Sorc and I run 1H sharpened S&B with Elemental drain on my Templar which means they come out about even. The only advantage the Templar has is that his AOE's and multi target reflective light that make him an AP machine in group fights.
